How do I find a cheap car rental??? - The DIS Discussion Forums

So I've decided to try to rent a car to get around. I can't seem to find any great rates. Going 4/6-4/12. I was originally trying to pick up a car someplace other than MCO because our flight is getting in really late and I didn't want to drive in the dark when I'm tired. I would pick up on the 6th at the airport if it's cheaper or can pick up on the 7th in Orlando...

Any suggestions??

I think the holiday time, cost is soooo high, why not try a priceline bid? The rates they have even on hotwire are 3x what I just paid. Even a primium car was $90 a day, where I paid $17.99 a day 3 weeks ago.

Thanks for the idea. I'm usually worry about what I'll get when I bid, but it might be worth a try.
