Hi Laura!!!

Hope you have a wonderful trip!!! I do love a balcony, but two bathrooms is great for your gang! Take a ride on ToT and think of us! Looking forward to pictures!!

Best to all!!! :-)

I know I've seen a map of the Friendship Boat 'schedule' of stops (the order of stops at resorts/parks) but for the life of me can't seem to find it in a search. Does anyone know where that might be?

Studios >S/D>Yacht & Beach>Boardwalk>Epcot. And then in reverse.

Have room discounts for FL residents been released for Oct? Do they still offer them? We got a FL resident rate for our dates a few years ago. If they just haven't been released, any idea when that will happen? TIA

From DHS, I always get off at S/D and walk to Boardwalk (if that's my destination! ) Faster than the boat!

From Epcot, I always get off at Boardwalk and walk to Swan/Dolphin when staying at S/D -- although I usually don't take the boat from Epcot, unless my feet are REALLY sore!!

I am looking around, but can't seem to find the info anywhere... What size are the in-room safes at the Dolphin? Will they fit a couple of iPads? Do they use a key, or a code?

TIA!

I'm pretty sure the safes are the same at the Swan and the Dolphin. This is the one from the Swan, and as you can see, it's pretty big...much larger than the one we had at the Beach Club. It could definitely fit multiple ipads or a laptop.

It has a keypad entry, which you set upon check in.

Thanks so much! That is a huge safe! We were at BWI last year and could not even fit in our netbook. So it came to locking a suitcase every day.... This makes me happy.

Thanks again!

You're welcome. One less thing to worry about, right?

Yep, they use the same safes at the Dolphin. Although for some reason, and I know I'm wrong, I remember a shelf.

You will have no problem with iPads fitting. Also most laptops will fit no problem. The only issue you will have is that you have to put it on its side, so make sure that you put the bottom out from the safe wall slightly and have the top rest against the wall. The first few times you do it, you might be a little nervous, but they do feast in the safe nicely.

In case anyone is wondering DSLRs (lens removed) and lenses also fit in the safe. If I'm not bringing mine to the parks, I put it along with my ipad and backup hard drive in the safe and my netbook usually gets hidden in a drawer somewhere. Oops, I probably shouldn't have typed that.

No need to take the lens off. Just put it on its back with the lens pointing up.

Good point OKW Lover. Have only been there once, second time in under 3 weeks. , but never thought of that during our visit. I think it's because I have a an eyepiece extender, so mine doesn't lay flat, but it still works.

We just returned from the Dolphin and I had my laptop, an Ipad, 2 tablets, and a camera in the safe at one point. They hold alot!!! I did have to turn my laptop on the side to get it in, but it all fit
