same here. We paid off our post-WDW cruise, put $1k down on WDW, then spent a bazillion $$$ at Christmas, and now need to buckle down and get WDW paid off by end of February. I should probably take back that text I just sent DH about trying a new restaurant this weekend, lol.

Christmas is what took us down too. But it's okay. We need something to occupy us for the next 100 days or so anyway, right.

I have told my boss I don't need any days off in January and I might be able to work late some days to help out 2nd shift. I am sure she will make me take some, but I have been know to work 21 straight days to raise money for a Disney trip. Wow, I hope that doesn't sound as obsessive to others as it does in my head.

Doesnt sound obsessive to me. Thats the only way I am able to pay for trips is to work a ton of overtime. I've been approved 50 hours OT for the next 9 days alone. Guess that means no sleep, but at least we can have a bunch of fun in April.

wow, I'm not the only crazy one. I have been a stay at home, homeschooling parent for years, and just picked up a part time job this year because our annual Disney trips were looking like they may have to be bi-annual. I decided I would work just to ensure our annual trip, and its sooo worth it.

I managed to finally get through after 3 hours and 45 minutes. Only to find out there was a glitch with the computer system so our room wasn't discounted as much as I had found online. we would've had an almost 900.00 savings and now have a 600.00 savings. But what doesn't make sense is that another one of our rooms has one less child than my room and they had a MUCH greater saving. I am confused. I shouldve just booked online and cancelled the other reservation. oh well I guess. I'm happy we are saving anything, but would've loved a couple hundred more.

yeah, that's what I am thinking. The other room in our group that was a giant savings, I think they missed something. I can not replicate the number they gave me. so I need to call and make sure that reservation is all set and not missing anything. I'll ask them to check mine again too.

Happy to be here!

So excited that my family and I are going to WDW in April! We have 4 kids and have never been before. I haven't been in 20 years so a lot has changed! Can't wait to learn all that I can!

so happy now I can focus on the fun part of planning....must refrain from changing my ADR's! But I am rethinking my Ohana ADR for our first night....hmmm. after check in at POR we are eating a CS lunch in the food court and heading to MK. I had BOG and cancelled it and booked Ohana. Now I am thinking we won't want to leave MK for dinner and maybe should stay in the park. Crystal Palace or LTT????

Happy to have you join us. Our very first trip was in 2007 and I joined the DIS about six months before that. Everything I knew about WDW I learned on the DIS. (My dh got tired of hearing me say, "On the DIS someone said . . ." )
