I love it too. Thankfully, my Mom has most of them somewhere, be it on VHS or DVD. She's slowly trying to build up her DVD collection as her VHS collection is wearing out, then it'll be time for Blu Rays. lol

YAY! Me too! I recently had my very first 'drastic' hair change, from golden blonde (which I have been my whole life) to a deep copper red. It faded pretty quickly, but I'm getting it re-done with a little more red in it soon :D

I just saw Wreck-It Ralph with the boyfriend, and we LOVED it! Take the kids, take the other half, just go see it, because it's adorable. Especially if you're into older video games (Pac-Man, Frogger, Q-Bert, etc.) Can't wait to see if they have the cabinet version of Fix-It Felix at the AoA arcade!

I told dh the other night that we were going to have to watch some Disney movies so he would be ready for WDW. We don't do evil, magic, hauntings, etc. in our house so there are just some things at WDW that we skip. Our first trip was in October and I am truly amazed that he wanted to go back. Anyway, seeing the pictures of the outside of the Beast's Castle and the West Wing in BOG (where I have an ADR), I really need him to watch Beauty and the Beast so he will understand the flow of the story. Otherwise I might not get him in the door.

I need to get the kids to re-watch BATB too since we'll be eating at BOG. I've never actually seen it myself so I should watch it as well. I don't know how I'm going to get them to rewatch all these movies without telling them we're going. They'll probably go for Toy Story and Nemo and stuff like that but convincing them to watch Bambi & Dumbo might be a little tough, lol. I'll have to bribe them with popcorn or other junk food.
Ooooh, that's something I can work on this week. I'm going to type up a list of every Disney movie I want us to watch and assign them dates. I want to work it out so we we're watching every week from January 'til our trip. That's probably about 15 weekends so I'll have to come up with the most important 15 movies. Hmmmm......

so QOTD: what are the MUST-SEE Disney movies?? We're staying at AoA so I think I have to make the first 4:

1. Cars
2. Nemo
3. Little Mermaid
4. Lion King

Monsters, Inc! - one of our family favorites!!
Princess and the Frog
Nightmare before Christmas - in heavy rotation this time of year!
Definitely Beauty and the Beast
Cinderella (I know you have boys, but it's a classic, and they might think the mice are fun)
Lilo and Stitch

It's so hard, we have them all, and love them all!!

My kids actually do LOVE Mary Poppins, but that's a 2.5 hour movie...might be rough on some kids to sit that long.

Winnie the Pooh! The one that came out last year (I think it was last year) is quite short but so amazing.

I'm trying to think of movies that are really reflected in the parks. (We've seen them all before so it's not like any of it will be new, but just a refresher. :D )

What about the new Dumbo/Big Top area - I assume there's a lot of Dumbo references around there??

LOl, I think there's a lot wrong with a lot of the movies if we think about it hard enough, lol.

Totally! plus you have to remember the context and time period in which the film was made. Depending how old kids are, I think it can be used as a teaching moment. That's what my mom did when she showed me Dumbo for the first time
