We have a trip currently in the planning for May 2014 so still a while away, a cruise, WDW, DL and Vegas or Palm Springs or both, still very up in the air but deposit is on for the cruise, it's a go!

I can't remember where we had dinner that first night, but to be honest I didn't have a meal I didn't enjoy.
When fish was on the menu I had it

After dinner the first night we went back to our room and were greeted by this

Very cute!

The beds were dreamy! (Although I think I still could have been suffering a little jetlag and was waking at extremely early hours

We never made a point to hurry to breakfast, you'd never go hungry throughout the day.

Our first full day was a sea day, we all headed out to the mini golf

I also had a bit of a shoot around on the basketball court, a great way to burn off some of those extra consumed kilojoules.
DH had a go at the golf simulator, golf is his thing so he was rapt there was one of these on board.

We met some characters that day also, DS's favourite

He thought it would be funny if they all did a gangsters pose

Animators palate must have been visited that afternoon for something, as we got some pics

I am loving the chairs in AP. Very different to the boring white ones on the Wonder. I cannot wait to see them for myself

He certainly fancies himself as a pirate

He loved dressing up on pirate night

Day 3 onboard had us in Grand Cayman, we didn't book any port excursions, I wasn't really interested, we wanted to look around and see what went on in the ports...alot of shopping apparently.

We had to get tender to the island, and I remember getting off the boat at the other end and it was stinking hot

We got a good view of the Aquaduck from the tender

With the heat we decided to head to get something to eat and drink.
Margaritaville anybody?
We over-ate (of course we did)
No food porn, but I did get some of the drinks

DS got some Mardi Gras necklaces which he loved

The food was great, but pretty exxy, and the currency was USD but any change was given in Cayman cash.

We had gone to the shopping presentation on board to find out what the go was, we knew after the shopping presentation that jewellery could be found everywhere, it was best really I set myself a limit of nothing

We ended up having a look at the jewellery and duty free around town but didn't end up buying anything at all, we did however try some rum cake and quite honestly, I regret not buying a whole one (which I would have likely eaten on my own

)

After the stinking hot day on Cayman, I couldn't wait to get back to the ship and have a swim
