We'll be staying there in a few weeks...got a great deal on hotwire for it, so didn't know ahead of time what I was getting but it had a good star status and great amenities. Tripadvisor has pretty decent reviews so we're excited to try it out. I can't compare it to Bonnet Creek as we've never stayed there either. Not sure when your trip is but would be happy to report back after our stay next month!

I booked Lake Buena Vista resort and spa for our trip in November. I've never been there but my boss really loved it and recommended it so I'm taking her word!

The best price I found was through travelocity. If you search the internet for a travelocity code you'll find one for $50 off that works with this hotel on bookings over $500. Our total for our November trip came to $740 for 7 nights and that included the taxes and resort fees.

Just back from 5 nights at LBVR & Spa. Had a great time, I totally recommend it! We will go back! We were in building 5 which was close to the pirate theme swimming pool AND we had a view of Wishes fireworks (Yes, it was in the distance but still nice to look at from the balcony at night!).

I too would like more information on this resort, as we booked for Thanksgiving. We got a great rate (almost too good to be true) on Expedia.com. We have stayed at the Bonnet Creek before and are staying there again this June. We love the Bonnet Creek too, but Lake Buena Vista Resorts looks very comparable. We are hoping it is.

This is one of the places I am considering too for our trip in Oct 2012. It looks nice and the kids will love the pool! I read somewhere that the Irish Pub on property serves breakfast. Does anyone know the price range of the breakfast? I tried to call the hotel directly but was on hold for awhile and couldn't wait any longer. Even though there is a full kitchen, I prefer not to cook at all.

Thanks

There is their regular menu. I don't see anything about breakfast. I do see that it is listed as having a breakfast on numerous other websites.

I found a review from a woman at book it from January 2012 that says...
"The only place for breakfast was by the poolside and they only served breakfast muffins/sandwiches. Frankie Farrell the only other place for breakfast only opened at 11am weekdays and 9am on the weekend."

We're doing 7nights @LBVSR in July, I booked based on availability for 8 people & we wanted to Master Bedrooms so it worked out well everything was booked, I hope it's as great as I've read.

Anything new?

I'm bumping this thread to see if any of the people who mentioned that they were staying here have anything to report on their recent stays. Thanks!

I just came back about 2weeks ago, we had a 3bedroom (2 of which were masters) and it was great. We had a small issue with the fridge & 3rd bathroom no flushing...and we told them and it was all fixed by the time we returned, excellent service! The pub was right downstairs in our bldg. the rooms were spacious clean, and maintained, the pool was really nice especially for the kids. It's extremely close to Disney we had no problems getting to & from the parks pretty quickly. And there are some outlet stores walking distance. I would recommend this place to anyone going to Disney, the rate & what you get is way better if you have a large family or like us it was my family of four & my dad, stepmom, and brother.
