Just heard Asia for 2013.

Loas - Vietnam - Cambodia

Details to come.

No date when they will be released but Dreams Unlimited Travel will offer an early booking discount on this and all 2013 trips once they are announced.

I'm delighted to see this! I particularly like ABD for destinations that are challenging to plan your self because of language and other logistics challenges. It has much greater value to me than some of the other trips that I can more easily plan myself! But I agree with BoBo though; too many places, not enough time!

So we should never travel to countries where people make less money than us? We should not be able to enjoy the fruits of our labor by going to visit countries that are rich in culture if not in money? I'm afraid I don't see the logic in that.

I really think your guilt-tripping is mis-placed, and I'd like to see you keep it off of this Forum.

I didn't say any of this! I posted facts that should be considered by anyone planning a trip to these destinations.

In fact, I encourage such trips to broaden perspective of the world.

While I love ABD and had a great time on Viva Italia I will be using Gate 1 Travel for my trip to Southeast Aisa. I leave next week and will visit Bangkok, Angor Watt,Hanoi, Hoi chi Min City, Hue etc. For around $3,000 I will get airfare from LA and a 16 day guided tour that include many optional tours and this is for a single supplement. Can't wait. Will share my experience here when I get back. I have used Gate 1 travel before and have found them to be very reasonable and great to work with.

I've never heard of Gate 1 Travel. I'd be very interested in hearing about your experience with them. Have a great trip!

I received an Adventure Insider snail mail about this trip today. I think the itinerary looks fun and DS agrees. The letter does say additional details and dates will be available in late spring, so sounds like we won't have to wait until August this year.

When you travel, do you research the per capita income of every destination and post it on message boards?

I must have missed the last trip fact report.
