7/1/12 I added Links at the bottom of this post to make it easier to get to the updates! Even though I don't have many!

So...after much debate...I'm going to start a PTR and a TR once we return! Hoping to add some Food Porn in too since there is not much for DL!

This is our very first trip to Disney Land & the West Coast! This will also be Brayden's very 1st Trip to any Disney park! Well....if you minus the trip that he went while in my tummy back in April 2011!

We have decided to fly! I'm a little nervous about the whole flying with kids thing because we always drive to WDW. We were going to drive to DL but with the gas prices and it being a full 2 day drive....3 hrs in the air sounded a bit better! lol

I am hoping that in addition to DL we will be able to make it to the beach (looking at Newport Beach) and also think it would be neat to go see Hollywood sign and stars sidewalk!

James' Parents have decided to fly in and meet us Tuesday night and stay til Saturday when we leave...they will also be bringing one of our neices with them who is also 5! They had taken her 3 older sisters to WDW a few years back and this is the trip the "owe" her! We are excited to have them meeting us!

Who:

Heather (30): I am a SAHM..Mother of 3! I LOVE Disney...especially now that we have kiddos to watch the excitement through their eyes!

James (DH32): Is a very hard worker to support his family and a good Daddy!! He also likes Disney very much although he won't admit it!

Hunter (DS10): He is 100% BOY! Always going going going.....never slows down. He loves to play Baseball. LOVES his Video game systems too....i think he has almost every system. Hunter will be in 5th Grade next school year...its so hard to believe! His favorite character is Sully & Mike W.

Ashlynn (DD5): She is 100% GIRL!! Loves to shop, dress up in pretty dresses and twirl around... and loves jewelry. She loves to dance and sing to music! Ashlynn will start Kindergarten next school year! Her favorite characters are all of the Princesses as well as Minnie, Mickey & Daisy!

Brayden (DS9mo): Born 9/26/11..he just turned 6 months old! Hard to believe!

He is the sweetest, happy, laid back and easy going Baby! He loves his Big Sister and Big Brother...but Big Sister is a little more favored by him. Brayden already loves watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse...he starts laughing and his arms and legs start moving! Its too cute!

Sounds good! We're like your family... usually go to WDW, but this year we've already one trip to DL and have another planned in the fall. We'll get to Hollywood in the fall too and we'll stay a couple of days in Newport Beach. There sure is a big difference between WDW and DL but both are great in their own ways! Looking forward to your PTR and TR!

I've been a little nervous about DL vs WDW but trying to keep an open mind!

I'm sure we'll have a blast and will enjoy it...it's Disney!

I'm having like ADHD when it comes to restaurants. I look at the menus and I just can't decide! We've pretty much decided to do just fast food joints, so I'm thinking of just playing it by ear since we won't have to make any ADRs. It's so weird for me because in WDW I have my favorites so I know pretty much where I'm going to eat. But since I've never been to Disneyland it's like harder to choose, you know?
