What do you guys think of Disney Quest

I've read some good and bad reviews on it by different magazines and critics but I was wondering what you guys (the real pros) thought of it. I've never been there before and honestly its hard for to grasp and pinpoint exactly what it is... but I'm going to Florida in a few shorts weeks so I'm not sure if I should check it out or not. I'm 22 and I love every single disney attraction from dumbo all the way to space mountain, so is Disney Quest something you think I'll enjoy?

I feel like if you're going to be there for a few days and get the "water parks and more" option, it's slightly more worthwhile than just paying for it for one day. I am a video game geek and found the "virtual reality" to be a little bit distracting from the game aspect, and some of it was pretty choppy - especially the helmets. That being said, my friends and I still had a good time there, and a couple of the rides (Buzz Lightyear's Astro Blaster & POTC Battle for Buccaneer Gold) are very fun. I will also say that the air conditioning in there felt great on a hot day!

We think it's "okay". Actually in all fairness, the kids really seem to like it a lot. I am a videogame nerd and I do like the retro-arcade area. But the "virtual reality" rides kind of leave something to be desired ( Except Pirates of the Caribbean, that one's actually pretty fun ).

DW and I always say we're gonna "skip it this time", but we always end up there one evening during out trip

I hated it! Sorry but it gave me a headache and when we are at WDW, I like to be outside.

It's crazy in there!
But, we found a nice quiet spot, had some popcorn and a drink,
While the kids went crazy!
The virtual rides were lots of fun, like the pirate ride!
We prob wouldnt pay any extra to do it again, though.
It came with our package.

I got major motion sickness but the rest of the family (two teenagers and DH) absolutely loved it. They have all demanded it for the upcoming trip.

It's getting a bit "aged" in terms of appearance; but the attractions are still really fun. That being said, I wouldn't go unless I had the WPF&M option on my ticket. It's really not worth the $37-43/pp to get in otherwise.

I love Disney quest. If I'm doing a solo trip or have a few days alone I usually go to DQ. The pirates game is fun and the game where you lay flat on the orange beds and virtually ride the mine ride or you're a marble. It is a lot of fun. If you add it to your package with the water parks it's worth it

Some people including me get dizzy doing virtual reality. I think it has something to do with something called video refresh rate or frame rate. Computer video may or may not have the same frame rate as television video so it is possible for a person to be affected by some but not all video games.

Dh and I went on our last trip without kids. We were bored to death. DEFINITELY not worth the entry cost, IMO. It seemed like anything that would have been fun (above and beyond a regular arcade game) was either broken or had a ridiculously long line. We won't be going back.

In 2009, we went. My husband and son loved it. My son loves video games and would play them all day if we let him. He would've been 13 on that trip.

My DD who was 9 at the time and I got bored quickly and left to go shopping after doing the virtual rides.
I wanted to do the animation drawing class that is similiar to the one at DHS but DD was bored and didn't want to do it or wait for me to do it.

For her and I it was a waste of money.
I had to practically drag my husband and son out after 3 hours. I had to keep calling and calling and calling my husband's phone to remind him of an ADR we needed to get to. For them it was worth it.
