You might be interested in some Duffy Poll results. So far Duffy has a slight positive edge.

I understand Disney wanting to get into the "Build-a-bear" market, I've bought enough of the evil things to know kids love all the outfits and accessories, ect....but before Duffy I wondered why Disney didn't do something similiar to Build a Bear but with it's own characters, something where you could Build a Mickey, Build a Minnie or whoever, with different styles, pie eyed Mickey, modern Mickey, black and white Mickey (tons of possibilites) with costumes and all the rest...I would be much more likely to have the kids do something like that instead of random out of nowhere Duffy. I don't like Duffy, never will.

I'm a Star Wars geek and I'll be getting it. I was anti-Duffy at first, but I've fallen for the little bugger.

Just don't look directly in his eyes that how he gets you he will have one of his miniOns follow you home. They look so harmless but they are not they pray on your one weakness ability to walk away not spending money in Disney. During the night they are putting Disney parks on everything raising prices on kids meals and over cooking the chicken nuggets basically doing iger dirty work.

What turned you around? People say that I should like Duffy, but I personally don't get it.

I named my OL "Duffy" but not after the teddy bear. Yeah he does nothing for me...yet neither did the Vinylmation figurines...until I saw the Chocolate Valentine Mickey one this year...who now sits on my office desk in his little red box...to the tune of $16 for a 3" figurine...but I had to have him...my precioussssss!

When I was 4 years old, I named my hamster "Duffy." Long before the teddy bear.

I apologize in advance to those who like Duffy, clothed or not, but...

People who buy crap like that just have way too much money...

Either that, or no common sense.

The way I see it is that merchandising is never going to please everyone. While some may like Duffy, others may not. It's the same with Vinylmations, Big Figures, Dooney & Bourke purses, Olszewski pieces, and so on. I think that's what is so great about having the ability to pick and choose what you spend your money on. Originally, I did not like Duffy, but he has grown on me, and I actually think some of them are cute. I may even buy a holiday one in the future.

Actually, Duffy is as much a Disney character as Mickey or Minnie. He's more so than one like Ariel and Cinderella who predate Disney by years and years. He's more so than a character like Nemo or Buzz, who are were created by a separate entity. Duffy is 100% Disney.

I don't get people who dislike Duffy because he's not from a movie or a TV show. So if there were a Duffy movie you'd feel better about spending money on his likeness? I'm not sure I understand what difference that makes.

It not that he not in a movie as much as he more if a build a bear concept then a Disney character. He grown in me some if his out fits are nice but he know every where. They use Jim for every sprcsil event merchandise and forgetting to use other charactors I wish they do more with chip and dale. I like vinlymations where other people don't like them. So help them if they make a Duffy vinlymation they need to keep them seperate not sure everyone ready for those two forces to collide.

Mile he is married his wife name is I think Shelly Mae and leaves In Toyko Disney he has lots of kids that why he here earning money for his family. So may be soon comIng to wdw and dl. The only lproblem Duffy has is keeping latso away from his girl.
