Removing someone off deed
Just wondered in a joint contract if one person can be removed? Only had our pionts since november. My ex is prepred to take the contract on as i cannot afford the repayments. A total nightmare im very upset!

Nothing useful to say about your question but saw your post and just wanted to say i'm sorry you have to get rid of dvc - I can remember you buying on your trip report last year.
Are you still ok to go in August - you'd booked your flights hadn't you?

Sorry to hear that you have to give up your DVC points.
I don't have the answer to your question but if you phone MS I am sure they will be able to give you the info you need. Hope you can get it sorted. |

Thankyou both. I dnt really want to give it up but i cant rely on ex to pay it and then me hvg problems gaining entry because of defaults. I wont be able to go august as I cant fly on my own. I really am a nervous flyer . All in all a sad situation but I hv to move on. Too much has happend. I hv paid the deposit for flights yes but will prob loose tht now. Dnt know there refund status need to phone them.

Glad to say dvc not goin anywhere but customer services were great and said it would cost $476 to hv name took off.

Before you have your name taken off the deed, if you have a "mortgage" (owe money on the original contract price), make sure that is taken off too (ex may have to re-finance or something). Otherwise, you could be in the position of owing money (for the mortgage) but not on the deed.
