Teppan Edo
i am thinking of booking Teppan Edo but have a couple questions. Since it is just DD19 and myself, might it feel uncomfortable? Are you able to share a meal?

Your discomfort level will depend on you. My family of 4 shared the table with another family of 4. We had no interaction with them at all. They actually seemed to all be in a miserable mood. The requests they had regarding their food prep were rather odd as well. It seemed like they didn't like any standard things on the menu and changed all 4 dishes they ordered. We just didn't talk to them and our chef directed most if not all of his attention at us, once it was apparent that the others were not into it. Didn't make me uncomfortable but it could bother some....
Just my 2 cents!

I guess that is what I am afraid of...being seated with not so friendly people.

Most of the time, I've had no interaction with the people we've sat with at Teppan Edo. Once in awhile, you get a friendly group, but that hasn't been my general experience. It's never been uncomfortable for me though- the wait staff is all friendly and the show is fun no matter who you're sitting next to. The last time I was there, I actually went solo, and it wasn't uncomfortable. So I think you'll be fine.

If the rest of the table doesn't want to talk to you, concentrate on the show given by the chef, and on the food. I don't know if you fear that the other parties won't talk to you or if they will just be out and out rude. The rudeness isn't common but the not talking bit is relatively common.
