How to gain 10 lbs in 5 days... F&W 1st timer Updated...

I am determined to not only start a PDR but finish it when I come back

Background info:
My wonderful DH surprised me with a trip to WDW for Christmas last year for a 1st time Christmas trip. We left 12/25 about mid afternoon. It was wonderful. We bought Ap's because we already had an April trip planned. Those darn AP's though caused the year of WDW. I am coming back for the 5th time this year 1st time Food and Wine We are staying at BC. The trip is about 4 weeks away and I am ecstatic so here I am planning

Cast:
DH and myself both 35 yrs old. I teach , he works for a bike manufacturer
I love all things Disney, DH puts up with it but he loves the food
My favs: California Grill, Yachtsman, Via Napoli, Flying Fish, Bluezoo
DH: Via Napoli, Le Cellier, Tutto, Yachtsman, CA Grill, Captain's Grill

DH lets me plan trips to Disney as long as we stay at an Epcot area resort. Usually BC because that is our favorite. So we are spending 5 days/4 nights there. Usually we don't go for less than 7 nights so we are trying to figure out our few dinner choices

So far I know we will spend at least 2-3 days lunching around F&W. Can not wait to try so many things. Very excited for Greece, France, Hawaii, Florida, Japan and Hops & Barley among others

We have reservations at the following:
Kona - new to us
Via Napoli - DH 's must do
Ca Grill- we could only get a very late ressie so we may cancel
Yachtsman
Tutto- we may switch to Brown Derby
Captain's Grill - breakfast for DH

I plan and over plan so these may change several times... one never can tell

Ha! I think I've found the secret of gaining a disporportionate amount of weight to all the walking that we do at WDW!! What a great time of the year to go AND to have F&W!!

Looking forward to hearing all about it and if any plans change between now and your trip!

Have fun!

Ok.. so the game plan was to lose about 3-4 lbs before arriving. That is not going to happen... you see, me loves food and I keep eating
Oh well

Last night the topic of conversation was of course food

DH: so where we eating?

Me: Kona , Yachtsman, Bluezoo, Via, CA Grill ? , Tutto or Brown Derby, and Captain's Grill for breakfast

DH: Kona ?

Me: some coffe porkchop

DH: Yum - yep, keep it. What about Beaches and Cream

Me: We can do a lunch there if you want

DH: Oh, I want

Me: We are never going to be able to eat at all these places

DH: We can try

10 lbs looks to be about right

LOL i know the feeling, i go to disney for the food!!!

i've been on a diet since August trying to lose 30-40 lbs, so hopefully by Nov 25th I'm down to 155-165. I know I will be gaining lots of weight from Disney especially on the dining plan lol

and 10lbs sounds about right

Hi! Judging by your ticker, we'll be there at the same time. And we're eating at California Grill and Via Napoli too!

I know what you're saying about trying to lose a little before the trip. I've done okay - but it's never enough! Maybe all the walking will offset some, right...right?

I look forward to seeing if our reviews are similar when we get back!

Yeah its all about the food. That is the only way I can convince DH to keep going back

Yes! We will be there at the same time
I used to think I would walk it off but never do. We don't go commando, we go at a much more relaxing pace, plus we stay at BC and Storm Along Bay days are plentiful and there is definitely no walking it off there.
Oh well I can always lose it after because I am going to eat whatever, whenever while there
