I think you were on the wrong spreadsheet. Go to the ROLL CALL spreadsheet. Look at the tabs on the bottom and scroll over to the Champagne Girls. Click on it and that's the spreadsheet where you make changes.

Thanks for checking and updating.

It doesn't take Cheryl from Hokey Donuts long to make custom orders. She is really quick to fill orders and knows that the Hawaii cruise is in the near future.

Unhappy with our stateroom

Grrrrr - we were a 10A GTY and got our stateroom assigned some time ago (#7003). As I'm sure most of you know, there aren't too many 10A staterooms - just a few on Deck 7 and Deck 5 all forward.

We had our ILs reservation linked to ours and they had a GTY 11B. Since there are no 11B staterooms on Deck 7, we had hoped they'd get upgraded to an 11A to be placed near us.

No such luck!

In fact, they assigned them #5133 - 2 decks below us AND all the way aft!!

I just emailed Disney to see if we could get them moved to Deck 6 forward (#6303-6323). I also offered to upgrade them to 11A if they could give us #7009. Of course, any other 11A wouldn't really be worth the extra $$ especially if they have any of the Deck 6 11Bs that are right below us.

It will be a real hardship for them if they have to walk the whole length of the ship every time they want to see us. (sigh)

Any other suggestions as to how to get our rooms closer together?

Thanks
Stephanie

Got our room also

We are in 2508. No upgrade. We have always been aft on deck 6 or 7. This is forward so it will be a new experience. We are sort of below the Diversions area which is my favorite hangout so that might prove convenient.

BUT, if the parks close at 10 then I would just do DL. It has the magic of Walt's touch that you won't find at any other park. I would try to see/do the things that are not at MK.

You might be able to get both done in a day if you skip some of the rides that you can get at either park (DL or WDW). Maybe it is just me but I didn't think that either park was that big.

If you only pick one, personally I would go to Disneyland because it has the majority of my favorite rides and some that are different from WDW. Go Matterhorn!
California Adventure was okay, though, if you love Soarin' make sure you go because the wait never seems to be as long at DL as it is at WDW. Maybe because they are in California?

They also have a nice setup with their Downtown Disney area. It's compact and has plenty of food choices and places to shop!

Just my two cents and a hair clip on the matter.

If you plan on getting a park hopper ticket then I would recommend both parks but if you are only going to go to one park, I would go to Disneyland - the original. California Adventure (DCA) is under construction so there are areas that are fenced off. You can walk right into DCA from the Grand Californian. I think you are there on a Saturday so the parks are open late (Disneyland usually till midnight and DCA till 10). They are both doable knowing you cannot do everything. Definitely use fast passes. They are different systems in each park so you can get more than one fast pass at a time. I recommend the World of Color at California Adventure and the fireworks are great at Disneyland. The hotel used to give out fast passes that when you stuck them in the machine gave you fast passes that you could use right then (did not have to wait for a time later in the day as is typical). Works great so you can get more rides in.

My recommended attractions at Disneyland- Space Mountain (in my opinion better than WDW), Finding Nemo cuz WDW does not have it, Matterhorn if it is back up again (they were working on it), Small World, Pirates, Tiki Room, Indiana Jones (not at WDW). At DCA: Soarin over California, Screamin, Toy Story Mania (not fast pass so always long lines), Grizzly Rapids (you will get wet but you are staying next to the ride so can always change). You have to go see Aladdin-it is a great musical!

We always go to the Grand Californian to White Water for lunch instead of in the parks. Call dining and get reservations for the evening so you do not have to wait in line if you are eating at the park or a restaurant in the park. Sorry I am not much help in the dining department.

Have fun and remember the Disneyland Resort is a lot smaller than WDW. You can walk from your hotel to Downtown Disney to Disneyland to DCA. No buses!

(In fact he watches it on Youtube all the time just for fun). We're really only going to have one day at the parks, too, because we get in late on the 27th...so we are getting a one day, 2 park hopper pass. There are lots of things at DL we will not NEED to ride (like most of the duplicates from WDW). The only two things I'm totally set on doing are WOC and the Little Mermaid...everything else is gravy as far as I'm concerned.

Thank you everyone for their advice. It looks we will get the park hopper for the day. Still have to check if there is magical hour for that day the 28th. It looks like we are planning on WOC for the 28th 1st show, just need to figure out which restaurant.

To all the people organizing stuff for this cruise to make it so memorable, thank you once again for your hard work. I don't know how you do it. I'm struggling to get all the FE's done for both cruises!

Request for someone in Australia

I can't believe I'm asking this for my boys!! They have gotten into collecting these toys called Trash Packs-I don't see why, but they are boys. Anyway I found out they are from Australia and sold at Toys r us, Target, Big W over there. In the states they had only been in Toys r us. Our Toys r us have been wiped out since 2 weeks before Christmas and has not gotten them in. Nothing available on the website either. Went to Amazon and way overpriced. So if anyone would could do me a favor and pick up a couple of packs of these, I would greatly appreciate it. They retail for 5.99 for the 5 pack and 9.99 for the 12 pack.
Here's a pic-pretty gross if you ask me.

They told me series 2 come with orange cans.

Thanks

We got our cabin as well 2592-no upgrade either. We have only gotten one upgrade in the 15 cruises we've taken so far.
