That's really what the cards are for......remembering all the things you've been thinking of doing for the past 6-12 months.

I've always wanted to have breakfast at Captain's Grille, they have some yummy sounding things on that menu!

Cheers to sleeping late and winging it. Both sound perfect to me!

Captain's Grille is one of those restaurants that has always interested me but never made it on the ADR list for various reasons. I'm excited to finally eat there.

Cheers to Girls Night Out!

Heidi & I got together yesterday & she gave me my dalmatian ears/tail as well as a very cute doggie bone bag that she ordered & added a great black & white strap! Sorry... no picture to post at the moment. She also gave me the black fabric paint so I can paint my t-shirt to match hers for our costumes.

Believe it or not, we get to start our 30 day countdown on Monday!! Which means I need to get the rest of our plans posted this weekend!

Saturday (day 4) will be another busy day! We are planning to make rope drop at DHS at 8am! I'm a little scared about this but hopefully we won't be out too late after the 3D party & will be well rested from our relaxing day the day before.

We'll then take some time to relax at BWV before Girls Night Out! We have a few things planned incuding some shopping & dinner at Via Napoli followed by some time on the Boardwalk at Flying Fish & Jelly Rolls.

Sunday morning (Day 5... I can't believe we turned it into a 5 day trip!!) will be our last day. But we have a good chunk of the day ahead of us!

We'll take care of our luggage, get checked out and head to MK! As convenient as it would be to end the trip at Epcot (or DHS), we just love seeing that castle on our last day!

I believe we have decided that our ME bus will be around 4:45 so we are planning to leave MK by 2pm to give us plenty of time to get back to BWV & get organized before it's time to go. Heidi & I are on the same flight but Julie's flight is right around the same time so we'll ride back to the airport together & say our good-byes... until next time!

Up next: Day by day countdown updates starting on Monday!!

Arrow more countdown fun

29 Days to go Sept. 11, 2012

To continue the little bits of Disney Joy... in our homes/lives... lets wake up to the morning sun and day with looking out my kitchen window and you can’t help but notice the little WDW vignette that greets me!

A mini replica of the art work from my home away from home at BLT, an awesome postcard given to me by my Diser pal Michelle (exwdwcm) and a few ceramic WDW cups…

Post time to pack the suitcase

Always in honor of 30 days TILL Disney I get out the suitcase and begin to pack…yes call me crazy, but I LOVE to pack for Disney….

I actually got a jump start the week before which was good since I’m getting over a stomach/GERD issue these past few days, but back on stronger meds so should be back to normal by end of week!

So let’s look at my PACKING list for ONE! (love that )

Accessories:

For costume
Green D&B
Headbands/hair clips
Jewelry for GNO
Pink sandals GNO
Red sandals costume

Clothing:

Black dress MNSSHP
Extra shirt/tank
Grey MM long sleeve shirt
Outfit Day 1) demin skirt, MM trick/treat shirt, white tank
Outfit Day 2) demin shorts, black WDW shirt, black tank
Outfit Day 3) green skirt, white tink shirt, white tank
Outfit Day 4) repeat bottom/tank, new WDW Boo shirt
Outfit Day 5) repeat bottom/tank, WDW 40th shirt
Airplane clothes: pink WDW sweatshirt, green flip flops, grey Capri sweats, shirt, white MM fashion scarf
Swim cover up/swim suit
Tan long cardigan or pink lightweight sweater
Hat of choice
Jeans: Capri/long
Unmentionables

Documents:

DL
Itinerary
Maps
Plane ticket
Touring cards
Travel binder
Hotel confirmation

Electronics:

Cameras
Charging cords
Ipad
Cell phone
Headphones
Extra memory card/batteries

Medical:

Allergy med
Antacid
Bandaids
Medical cream
Moleskin
Prescription meds
Vitamins

Other items:

Clothes pins
Detergent
Lanyard
Gum
Daily & Cruella make-up
Neck pillow (plane)
Travel blanket?
My DIVA supplies (toiletries)
Snacks for plane
Pen
Pressed penny money
Rain poncho
Sharpie marker
Trading pins
Ziplock bags

Luckily Amy and Heidi are flying SWA so they have no baggage fees and are bringing me down some of my needs…I’ll be sharing Amy’s hairdryer and she’s bring a diffuser for my curly hair, Heidi is bringing down the color spray for my Cruella fro plus some English muffins and bananas for my morning nourishment

Now since I’m NOT checking a bag I am a bit more paranoid about packing than I usually am…yes roll your eyes…

Last week I did a test run of packing my quart size bag w/ my liquid toiletries. It took me 3-4 attempts and several postings on FB of how do I do this?

This was my first pull of items

Um yeah not gonna work…

Attempt #3

Almost worked, pulled a few last things and got it to shut! YAY who’s needs sunscreen and body spray anyways?

I also pulled most of the items for my suitcase:

Now we’ll see if I can get all of that in there w/ room to spare!

I plan to take the small rolling suitcase and my Mickey bag, w/ my accessible travel items
Be back later to let you know how that all goes…
