We enjoyed both Lunch and Dinner very much. The steak sandwich was soooo good (offered at lunch). They also had onion soup & potato and lintel soup. They had a turkey sandwich, but I kelp hearing the guests like the steak one better. My husband and I enjoyed it very much. For dinner I had the steak with fries and the mayonnaise dip for the fries was very yummy. My husband ordered the thyme pork chop with gratin macaroni and it was not bad, but we are not used to that sort of taste, (thyme was very strong) so he ended up asking for the steak as well. They were really nice about taking the plate back. We did not want to send it back and felt really bad, but they insisted since my DH was not eating it. For dinner they also had ratatouille, I heard some say they enjoyed it. For an appetizer we got the cured meats assortment, some were good, some we did not like, but we enjoyed trying it. One thing that I absolutely loved which is served both at lunch and dinner was the strawberry cupcake! My God that is one of the most delicious cupcakes I have ever had if not the best! The chocolate one is good and I am more of a chocolate gal, but wow that Strawberry one was good. Highly recommend it to all! As for the reservation. I was contacted by a fellow diser who was told the best way to try and get the reservation was to do a three way call, once they cancelled mine they would try and book her. Unfortunately, it never came up. The cast member informed us that it could take a couple of minutes for it to come up and that it may be different for those booked online, but I booked mine directly with them over the phone. Sadly, she kept trying and nothing ever showed up. My recommendation to anyone visiting in December, especially on Christmas day when it is so busy, go to the restaurant podium and check for any cancellations the days you are there. Some people do cancel at the very last minute, you never know. Here are some pics of the yummy food. Thank you so much for giving us such a detailed account. I really thought we would like the lunch food so much better but the dinner food looks DELICIOUS!
 Were there many differences in the rooms between lunch and dinner? Does the dinner time provide anything extra from the lunch as far as entertainment or surroundings go? Thanks!

For lunch the 3 dining spaces were open to guests. When we went for dinner, the main ball room and the west wing were the only ones open. Rainforest cafe AK Wed Dec 12th 2:30 party of 2 Am fixing to cancel after I post this: Mama Melrose Dec 14 12:05 party of 4 Ohana Dec 10 9:20 p.m. party of 2 ( I can't get the site to pull up so Ohana & MM are still not cancelled at this moment.
