Well, I'm glad that you got your flights! The way southwest changed things is very confusing. DH has tried to explain it to me a few times, and I think my brain just shuts off. It's complicated now. 6am flight down is great! That leaves the whole day!

I remember that Shawna! My fingers are crossed for a good deal! I think I am going to wait until I get my airfare before I start the PTR, because I will cancel the trip and move it to August before I pay that much for airfare!!

It's pretty ridiculous,...but I have looked at dates for us-just out of curiosity- from March till Nov and they are anywhere from the upper 3s to over 400 per person, RT...with the rumors of our gas prices going up perhaps another $2 or more per gallon over the summer, waiting to go in August may not give you much releif either,.. I am sorry to say! If that happens, my airfare will be astronomical!! Which might mean we dont go this year...I cannot justify spending twice the price of park tix on a plane ticket!!!! It's disgusting! Oh well,...I will step off the soap box now and let Meghan shoot us a cute pic of Cole or something to make us forget gas prices!

Yay for booking your flights! I am still (im)patiently waiting for SW to give me my points so I can book. So far the prices are holding steady so I'm not worried.

TA trips to Disney are so much fun! I haven't done the Disney World trip yet but I've done Disneyland. You're going to be beat but it's going to be a blast! And the Boardwalk! I'm jealous Though the clown pool scares the bejesus out of me. When my co-worker went last year, they put her up in the GF! Lucky girl.

Thanks Kim! I can't believe how fast time is flying either. Cole will be 9 months old on Friday! How did that happen?!

I'm so happy we finally booked everything. It's one less thing to worry about. Free dining would be great, but even a room only discount would save us something.

I'm so glad Tony decided to call SW to check on his points. It saved us some money! That stinks about changing airfare, but it's good that your DS work will pay for it.

I'm so happy about the airfare deal. I just can't believe how much prices have gone up since our last trip. We got the deal of a lifetime on our last trip ($69 each way!). I'd do anything to get prices like that again.

I hope that airfare will work out for you! Fingers crossed for a big drop!

I didn't even let Tony explain the points thing to me. He sounded confused enough on the phone. All I heard was $75 would get us enough credits for 2 free flights. The only bad thing was having to book everything separately...one flight at a time for the free flights. We booked Madison and Tony's filghts with the free ones, but then I had to link the two together since Madison is a minor under 12. I must have filled out the info 4 times because I kept missing something, doing something wrong...I wanted to throw the laptop!

We are scheduled to land at 8:45am!!!

Thanks Shawna! The airfare is always the biggest headache and I'm glad to be done with it.

Gas prices are supposed to get higher and higher all summer. It's already reached $4 at some stations around here.

I'm so glad the flight part is all done...time to move on to the fun stuff like ADR's.

This TA trip is just being put on by my agency. We're getting a conference rate on rooms at the Boardwalk. I'll fly down on Saturday and hopefully hit up Epcot for the evening. Sunday is meetings all day at the Boardwalk with my fellow agents and then the IllumiNations dessert party. Monday morning we're taking a tour of the Disney Reservation Center.

It is ridiculous and it makes me mad!! If I were to book for August right now we could get RT for all of us for $886. Still more than I've ever paid before, but way better than the April/May rates are right now..... It's tempting but we really had our hearts set on going in late April/early May. And you are right -- I'm not paying more for airfare than for park tix!

I know, a few years ago we could fly for $79 each way. That was awesome!!

I hope that airfare will work out for you! Fingers crossed for a big drop!

Thanks!!

I've been looking at airfare and it's just crazy! Last Sept we got the $89 per flight on JB and I was mad they weren't the $69 ones! Now I don't see anything less than $139! ugh! I know they include all the fees now but it's still $40 more per flight/per person so an extra $250ish. I am not happy about that!

Did you say you booked POFQ? We liked it there! The 'streets' are so cute and cozy. It's really like you are in a New Orleans neighborhood.

I just got a eBags from Amazon. It is amazing. It holds soo much stuff. So much that I was having trouble finding things It even has a zip open 'pocket' that a water bottle slips into!

It is ridiculous how high flights have gotten! It used to be easy to find RT to MCO for around $180. This year? Forget it! Glad everything was able to work out for you guys, though!
How long is your agency trip?? That'll be so much fun doing two trips so close together!
Yay for booking at WDW too! We have stayed at POR and loved it, but for a young family, I think POFQ is perfect. It's nice and compact!

I'm here, Meghan! So excited to read about your plans! We loved POFQ several years ago, and it looks even better with the refurb.

Wow, I can't believe how big Cole is getting. What a cutie!

Airfare is just out of hand. I can't believe I was satisfied with $155 flights.

Yup...booked at POFQ. It's so pretty!

I'll have to check those out. It's hard for me to stray from my beloved Vera Bradley though!

By the way...great job at the Princess 1/2 Marathon!!!

Thanks for coming over! I'm very excited about the new rooms...queen beds are WAY better than double beds!

Cole needs to stop growing. I just want to hit the pause button on life!
