I don't have pics immediately available but what I did was when the wife decided to turn our den into a Disney room, i made half a dozen different display boards of various sizes using accoustic ceiling tiles wrapped in black fabric. The panels are much cheaper then cork boards and are easy to work with. The one 2'x4' panel (full size) has a plywood backing board for stability but the smaller ones are okay on their own. I take some pics tonight and post them.

I got cork boards from Wal-Mart for under $5 each (framed cork boards) and we put pins in those. I've also used plain frames with the glass removed, just push the pin through the cardboard that comes with the frame. In the kitchen we have a dry erase board that has cork around it, I have food oriented pins on that.

I have been concentrating my pin collecting on the Hidden Mickey Lanyard pins. I put each years set into a shadow box that I purchase from Michael's Crafts (I wait until they go on sale for 50% off...).

My whole family collects pins. I requested pictures a while back. Here is the link for that older post. There are a few neat pictures on the thread.

I'd love to see some more current photos as well if anyone has them.

Hope this link works. It should be a picture of the pin board hubby and I put together in our Pooh/Disney room. It's still a work in progress and many more pins have been added to the board. I also have 2 separate smaller ones with my Jumbo Pooh pins and another for ny hubby's Steamboat Willie pins.

Its messy but here it is:

Bought a plain cork board from Michael's and covered it in black fabric with a black ribbon trim. I'm not a huge pin collector, but I like getting pins from resorts we've stayed in as well as events.

Walt Disney World is for tourists. Disneyland is for purists.

Panama Mike,

Where do you get your display cases from. I have 2, but need more. It's been a while since I bought any and I like the looks of yours.

Thanks for any information.
