Sideways cabins and beds - Magic

Hi

can someone please help me. My DS doesn't want to sleep on the sofa bed, as he says its uncomfortable. Do the sideways canins also have pull down beds. We were in 6007 last year and I can't remember seeing anything in the room.

Thanks

I do not remember if the sideways cabins have pull downs but I thought they did not. We have 4 and I remember thinking at one point that we would never get to sail in one. If he is that uncomfortable just pull up a quote for your cruise with 4 people to find staterooms it says are available. You know those will have the pull down since they would allow 4 people to book. Then go back and request one of those rooms when you do your reservation.

Thanks for that it will let me put in 4 people and book a cabin, so there must be a pull down bed in there. Thanks for the tip.

We had two sideways on the Magic and had 8 people, so yes they have the bunk bed, but there are weight restrictions, maybe 200?

What is the length of the pulldown bunk? Is it long enough for an adult?

My 6' son slept on it, I think it may be just a bit shorter than the daybed...

According to the Passporter Book 6007 is for 3 only.

I am pretty sure all the sideways on 6 only fit 3 people. The sideway cabins on 5 fit 4 people.

We have sailed in 6015 and 6019 and neither one had a bed in the ceiling.

We just sailed in 6003, 6007, and 6011 (all 3 sideways rooms) in October of '11. There was only room for 3. We are booked next year in 5509. This room will sleep 4. Only downside? It's above the theatre, so I'm a little worried about the noise, but I hear we'll probably be AT the theatre so maybe it won't be too bad?
Hope this helps!

Thanks for that. On our next cruise the T/A has booked 6521 which is sideways. Does anyone know if this has a pull down. The T/A says it sleeps 4.

We were in this room last month, and will be again for the Eastbound Panama Canal cruise. At least on Magic (and I think Magic and Wonder are the same), 6521 does NOT have a pull down. You can see the ceiling over the couch in this picture:

I know that on Wonder, Room 5513 is also a sideways and DOES have the pull down.

Did you like 6003? I just booked that room as a surprise for my parents to the Greece 2013 cruise. They'll be in that room 12 days. I'm a bit nervous, it's their first cruise and our 7th Disney cruise and we have always stayed in verandahs.

Have you stayed in these before MJ? Any theater noises? I read the 2 reviews on Dis, and they said they were above the theater. I know we'll be going to the shows at night, so surely 5509 will be ok?

TIA!
