Coronado Springs...is the marina open for boat rentals?

We are heading to CSR mid February and will have a day to just hang around the hotel. We'd love to be able to rent some type of boat.

Has anyone been there recently and seen the marina open?

Thanks!

Unfortunately the marina boat rentals are permanently closed. In addition, there are also no more bike rentals at CSR, either.

Oh no. Now that's bummer. The bike rentals too?

This will be our first time at CSR. I'm wondering if we're better off at POFQ or POR or CBR where there will be other things at the resort besides the pool. We have an 8 and 6 year old who loved the CBR a few years ago; just thought we'd mix it up this time and stay somewhere new.

I am not familiar with the activities the other resorts offer, so maybe others can chime in with the current offerings for POFQ/POR and CBR.

CSR does have little activities for the kids. There are movie nights at the pool where you can swim and watch a movie on a large screen, there are campfire nights where the kids can roast marshmallows over the fire (free of charge), and I believe they also have trivia contests during the day which the whole family can enjoy. These might all be available at all of the resorts but I'm not sure. If you think you will spends hours on end relaxing at your resort for more than a few days, you are right that maybe you should consider another resort that does offer things like bikes, etc.
