Looks like we are going to cancel this cruise. I'm disappointed but we know you will have a great time. We did the Baltics and had a blast. DH hurt his back trying to trim down a tree from Hurricane Sandy and he is still not up to par. A long flight plus a port intensive cruise will not work for him. Have fun everyone.

Michele - I hope your DH heals real soon - I'm sorry you all are having to cancel but hopefully he'll feel well enough to do something else amazingly fun this summer! Are you going to just transfer your booking to another itinerary?

This is also why I fuss at DH when he wants to "ride" on the shopping cart in the Costco parking lot - I tell him if he hurts himself, I have another friend with a passport already lined up to take his place because I'm still going!

Seriously, tell your DH we wish him the best and a fast healing.

I saw where The Lone Ranger with Johnny Depp comes out July 3rd. Sure hope they show it on the ship since it is a Disney film.

We have sailed twice when Disney had premiered their movies on land and both times they were also premiered on board.

They PremEARed Cars 2 at 12:01 am when we were in Alaska. My cabin was directly over the theatre, and we might as well have gone even though we had an early excursion the next morning. Earplugs were useless, and the sound system literally shook the bed. Can't say I'm excited to repeat that experience, but I have a forward deck 5 cabin again.

We've been onboard before for a couple of premieres. Being that this is a Johnny Depp release I definitely won't miss it. I'm hoping to see Oz onboard as well.

I have a couple of questions. Actually I probably have a dozen but I'll start with these two. Since this is our first Disney cruise everything is new to us. Also it will be our first time to Europe.

1. Do you bring your own beach towels for the swimming pool? They will take so much room in the suitcases but I wasn't sure what Disney provides.

2. Does Disney provide a phone so people on board can get in contact with some of their travelers that get off at the port? My daughter thought she read somewhere that each stateroom is provided with 2 phones for this purpose.

DCL provides pool towels located in lockers next to the pools. The phones are intended to be used on board. I have never tried taking them ashore, but I suspect they don't work out of range of the ship.

They only work on board or off the ship at castaway cay as they installed a tower there so the phone can work off the ship. Once someone gets off the phones will cease to work anywhere else.

Thank you. I knew it was probable too good to be true that the phones would work off the ship.
