That would be awesome!!! We can only hope that is the future plan!

I will admit we didn't make much use of the mugs. It felt like a hike for a refill, so we just skipped it. We ate at cptn cooks, but didn't make trips over just for drinks.

I'd send a kid though!

I guess it depends on where you eat your breakfast. If you are planning to eat at CCs then go straight to the parks....then, yeah. Someone would have to run the mugs back to the room. Our family eats breakfast in the room. DH takes the mugs with him to CCs, orders and brings food back to the room. We also order food from gardengrocer for the kids breakfast.(poptarts, milk, yogurt, etc) We like to eat while everyone is still getting ready in shifts so it all works out. After breakfast, we wash out our mugs to dry during the day while we are at the parks.

Another thought- if you eat at GCH and want to drop mugs off in your room, you can keep going over to TTC and get on monorail, bus, or boat to your destination.

It's so close! I never used the monorail at GCH but used the ttc all the time.

Thanks. This is a good idea. There are 5 of us. So we'll need to take turns to use the bathroom and get ready. Eating in the room will definitely save us lots of time

Do you take the buses to HS and AK from the TTC too? Or will it be better from the GCH?

Not sure where to ask this, but does anyone know how early you can rent a sea racer? That sounds like something fun DS(8) and DH could do while DD is at her BBB appt! TIA!

This will be our second stay at the Poly - last time DD was at college so didn't get to go, so it will be her first. We loved our stays at WL and BC, but the Poly was our fave! I had requested Samoa, but got Tahiti and we liked it so much that I requested it this time.

We also never used the monorail station at the GCH - always used the TTC since it was so much closer. We are big walkers so we didn't mind the hike to the GCH to use our refillable mugs (and in my case, purchase a daily Dole Whip. ). We'd go over every morning for breakfast, then as others have said, drop our mugs off back at the room on the way to the TTC. We would usually make another mug run during our afternoon break, and one at night as well.

Another nice thing about the Tahiti location was parking - we always got a space close to the building, and this was a busy time (President's Week) and the resort seemed pretty full.

I actually Rode the bus to HS from GCH, once. The other trips were monorail only.

Does anyone know if the concierge menu is still the same as the one on the first page? The one on the first page is from 2009. Just wondering if anything changed?
Thanks

Just booked

Subscribing to the thread. Just booked today for a September 17 arrival. The wait won't be bad at all. Can't wait to get back to the Poly.

Glad to see the Poly board remains as wonderful, friendly and informative as I recall. Arriving in 49 days but staying at BWI--my first non-Poly trip. Had to check in to the Poly board for a Poly fix. I'm sure I'll love the BWI, but it won't be the Poly!
