There is a way around the "no connecting rooms gurantee" if you call and put both rooms on your reservation you will get a connecting room. Make sure you tell them you have minors in both rooms.

Oh, this is good news!!!! Our kids are getting older and we prefer to get separate rooms as they get older. We like the 1 BDR villas for this but of course, the Poly doesn't have any. Then again, it is really expensive (at least for us!) to get 2 rooms at the Poly. No matter where we end up staying, I have thought about getting two rooms so I'm really glad to hear that they will do this! I was worried that we'd have to cross our fingers and if it didn't happen, have one adult + one child in each room (which is no fun for mom or dad that way).

I just pulled out my daughters stroller, that hasn't been used since our trip in December just to ser how comfy she would be.

I know with her only being 4 we will need a stroller just in case, but I am considering NOT taking ours with us.

I saw that club level at the Poly, you can borrow a jog stroller (if available), does anyone have any experience wirh this?

Do they have a good enough number of them that I should roll the dice and not bring ours?

Are they decent strollers, and the BIG question....do they have a place underneath them to store stuff (purses, purchases, etc.) and cup holders for drinks?

We are going on an "off week" the 9th -15th of December.

Any insight would be really appreciated!

Thanks so much!

You know there are places that will deliver a stroller to the resort and pick it up at the end of your stay? And it is cheaper than renting them in the parks. And they are good strollers!

Yep!
That was my plan B.
I figured if they ran out of them or they weren't what I needed, I could always call one of the rental companies...

I saw it on Tikman that they had them available for use to Club level guests, but couldn't find any specifics about them or anyone that had used them.

They are really only for use around the Poly not for the parks.

Oh! Ok!
I totally misunderstood!
I thought it was just a general "perk" for club level guests to be able to use them, if available!
Perhaps I'll go ahead and reserve from one of the other companies....
Thanks so much!!!

I know how you feel! My kids have asked if they can bring a friend. Right now our family is at the poly limit so if they bring a friend it's gonna have to be two rooms. Watch out about mom and dad fun in Disney! (I heard there is something in the air that could ADD a little too much magic! )

Just wanted to stop in and say .

We are thinking of planning a last minute trip to WDW in a few weeks. We really want to stay at the Poly and I have enjoyed reading this thread. I have stayed there several times in the past but it's been a while. Like 14 years

Anyway because it's a last minute type thing we would only be there for 4nights. Looking at a GV room. As suggestions would be appreciated! TIA

We love Fiji longhouse for GV! We always request Marina View (which is considered GV) and somehow luck out and get it every time We love Fiji because it's like a 30 second walk to the GCH and so close to the Pool and Marina! You don't get much pool noise, but often you can hear SOA (we actually like that). Whatever you decide, enjoy your trip!!

Yep..we have also requested 3rd floor fiji marina view. We are still hoping to get a little pixie dust and be upgraded at check in..but in case thats not in the cards, we have fiji marina as #1 and Aotearoa 3rd floor (either side) as our #2 choice with Samoa volcano pool side our #3 request.

(our luck we will be put into Tahiti in a different zip code
