Oh no, your morning isn't working out exactly as you planned. I hope it gets better when you get to Norway.

Oh dear! What a runaround with the monorails and busses and taxis! I'm glad you guys were up early enough to deal with all of that and find your way there.
And all that just to forget a pen! Oh no! I'm hoping a waitress or something was able to find you one!

Oh no!!!!! I cannot believe after all that, no pen! I have to admit, I giggled a bit. Can't wait to see how you solved that one...no stores open that early, right? I think at that point I would be walking up to strangers asking if they had a pen I could borrow!

Ugh - I think you took your morning drama all in stride. Although, I suspect it was still a bit too early to get a pen in the gift shops. But you're smart - You'll figure out something.

We ran into the same issue when we took the 745 am segway tour and were staying at BLT. I'm glad we figured it out in enough time to get that cab!

Oh, gosh, what a runaround with getting to Epcot! And after that, remembering you have no pen. Been there, done that...not necessarily with a pen, but with forgetting things, and then having that moment. I hope you guys were able to find one!

First of all, thank you for providing this information about the monorails. I had no clue! It'll definitely come in handy with BLT this summer.

Also, wow, that sounds like a pretty stressful morning. I hope the stores that sell pens open before Akershus does!

Transportation difficulties are all too familiar! Our last trip was FILLED with them!

Glad you finally made it to Epcot... hope you got your hands on a pen on the way to Norway!

BTW Love your Towel "animal"!!

Sounds like you guys had a difficult morning, but I admire your determination in getting to Akershus. I love your attempted towel "animal"! I hope you get something back from Mousekeeping in return.

I think we've all had those moments where we realize we forgot something very important. I am betting in this instance you found a replacement or were able to borrow someone else's. At least you didn't forget the card!

Our experiences with Disney transportation have mostly been good...but we did have that issue with taking a cab from WL to CR on the first night of our last trip. (I edited this post to remove my boring re-telling of the story that's in my dining review) After that debacle, the night just didn't go well, so I hope your morning took a turn for the better!

The monorail thing seems so weird to me. When we had this same ressie at Labor Day, we took the Epcot monorail from TTc (we were staying at the Poly, too). Is this a recent change?

Loving your report--We are 33 days away!

I had no idea the Epcot monorail didn't start running until after the resort monorail. Good to know if I ever stay at the Poly! Seriously, with all the times the monorail is not running, it almost seems like it's more of a hassle to take the monorail from a resort than a perk. Sorry you had to take a cab, but glad you made it to Epcot on time!

Oh no, you forgot the pen! Hopefully you found one before your breakfast!

Oh no! Not a very good way to start your day. That is a horrible transportation situation. They should definitely have told you that when it was made. I would have assumed the same thing you did!

Hi! I'm joining a bit late, but I'm finally all caught up now.

Man, I can't believe they didn't tell you guys about the transportation issue when you made your ressie. At least you made it, even if it was without a pen! That's such a cute idea though... I hope your niece loved her card!
