We're doing the January 25th yes program with our two boys. It cost us $235 x 4 tickets and we got the 8 day park hopper with 8 additional days at the water parks and disney quest. Saved us a ton if money and were super excited about the program!

If those are the new prices, that's crazy! We just bought our tickets less then 2 months ago.

Agree There was a lot of stress involved with having tickets through the YES program. We saved almost $500 so it was worth it but the current savings isn't worth the risk and hassle to me.

Wow, you got a great price if the adult tix were only $235, and you bought them less than 2 months ago. We bought 5 day park hopper and water parks 2 weeks ago. Attending child = $225. Attending adult = $359. Our class is Feb 13th. I wonder when the price increase happened?

Pattilee -- did you register for Homeschool Days? Or YES Individual Enrollment? There's a difference. It sounds to me like you paid the Homeschool Days rate. Phillytwins, it sounds like you paid the Individual Enrollment rate.

Yes, it's the Homeschool one for this coming up January 25th, Home School Days Event: Engineering the Magic. We paid $235 for two adults and two kiddos. I was wrong on dates though, I looked back and we purchased it on October 18th.

We didn't sign up for any other classes except that one. We have a 3 year old and a 6 year old, do you know if we will all be able to attend together? I was a little confused on ages but I put the correct birthdate for the 3 year old and let me buy it and it says were all signed up together to attend.

This is our first trip to Disneyworld and we'll be there for 12 nights and leave Tuesday, so so excited!!!

Yes, I signed up for individual enrollment. Now I get why the prices are different. Homeschool dates didn't work for us this time, but we are still happy to be taking the animation class, and I still saved $250 total on the kids' tix.

I am so confused as to how you did this, as the prices didn't come out until November if I recall. anyway, good for you.

Side note, My name on other parenting oriented sites is the same as your screen name, so it is really throwing me off to see your screen name.

I didn't get my tix till Jan 4th; it was pattilee who got them in October. And I only got my kids' tix discounted. Adult ticket price was just about the same as you get through Disney.

Funny about the screen name!

The entire family is allowed to attend the Homeschooling event. At the Homeschooling event in October, the very large group was seated in the theater where the Birds of Wonder show is. There were families and kids of all ages there, including many babies/toddlers. The presentation lasted for an hour. We really appreciated the parents around us who brought something quiet or some food to keep their really little kids happy and entertained, as a lecture on primates wasn't going to entertain that many toddlers, and there were quite a few antsy kids by half way through.

Nope, hasn't been announced, and probably won't until a couple of months prior. That is how it worked for January.

Unless they've changed the rules since last year you aren't required to stay.

We did the Jan '12 program and I attended the seminar with my school aged kids while DH took our then-3yo to meet some characters. We all knew she wouldn't sit through the presentation and because it was a lecture in the theatre at Studios our options for amusing her were limited - the iPod or DS would have been disruptive because of the light, and it was too dark for other toys/coloring. But the YES rep I spoke with over the phone before I booked and the woman at the check-in for the program were both clear that we didn't all have to attend that part of the event.

I'd call and double check since they have changed some things over the past year but I would be very surprised if they required whole families to attend; I'm sure they don't want disruptive babies/toddlers interfering with the presentation.

I think I asked this before but....you don't have to homeschool to get the homeschool days tickets and do a homeschools day presentation?

How many different days/presentations were there to choose from for young kids like 9 and under? Thanks!
