I'm sorry too......just didn't feel like things were falling into place like they should these last few months.......so I think I made the right decision.

We always do!! We're actually just as excited to go to Disneyland....something comforting in knowing what to expect, where everything is, etc......especially when dealing with the twins!!

I'm so very sorry the IRS didn't come through. WAH!! But, you have a nice Disneyland trip to still look forward to.

And you know what? WDW isn't going anywhere. It will be waiting for you when you are ready!

Having to cancel was sad.....but not having to totally give up on going on a Disney vacation is helping.......a lot!!

So something that should have taken at most (according to them) 16 weeks is now stretched out to 36 weeks with no end in sight. I'd really love to receive my "letter" next week. Once we get the letter, the check comes out 2-3 wks after that......then there would be a light at the end of the tunnel. At this point.....I can plan all I want, but can't book a thing.

Oh bummer! I was still hoping we could have met up for breakfast or something. I'm glad DLR is a go though, and we can always have our own DISMeet up in your neck of the woods sometime

I know....I'm disappointed too.......but maybe us meeting really should happen IN Oregon......

I'll enjoy seeing all your great pictures from your trip! Are you going to go to the resorts to see the edible displays??? This was one of the things I was really looking forward to doing....(and I know you would have awesome pics).

Just wanted to share on here for those of you that have been following along and haven't ventured over to my Disneyland PTR yet~~~~~~~~I called the IRS today and found out our adoption credit was APPROVED on October 4th and it takes up to 3 wks for a check run date to show up on the computer, but the agent figured we would have our check by the end of this month or early November!!!!!!

Not in time to change back to WDW......but it does mean our Disneyland trip will move forward and be an AWESOME trip!!!!

I also totally spaced on my son being able to get a CM discount at the Paradise Pier Hotel at Disneyland. It's our favorite place but we can't afford 2 rooms for our large family.......well, with his discount......we can stay in a premium view with concierge benefits, add tickets for $276 more than staying at the HoJo with tickets and the one night we were going to splurge at the PPH!!!!!! No way could we ever afford to do that.....but with Derek as a CM......we can!!!

Anywhos....just wanted to share this wonderful news because you all have been my backbone and support this past year!!! Thank You!!!
