Booked the Pop Century for Derek this morning.......we're 9 days away from him leaving.
(but still very excited for him!!) I also arranged for the Magic Express to get him from the airport to the Pop.....since we're under the 2 week mark, will they Fed-Ex his tags for his luggage??Thanx everyone for the answers yesterday to the Boma vs Ohana question. I think we're going to actually go to the Spirit of Aloha luau our first night in town. With us 10 days away from ADR day,.....I'll probably list all our ADR's and have each of you prioritize which ones to do first and in order. We've discussed this a bit before, but since we've made some changes....just want to make sure I go after the really hard to get ones first!!! |

If these were your picks.....in which order would you go for them? (I understand Ohana's, Chef Mickey, CRT, etc are the harder ones to get.....so I just want to make sure I put the top ones right to the top of the list to try for)

Laurie, I don't think you should have any problems getting any of your choices. Yes some may be a little more difficult but unless you are trying for a before park open ADR you should be fine on most of them but here is the order I would do them.
Le Cellier Cinderella's Royal Table Chef Mickey's 'Ohana Liberty Tree Tavern (only because they will probably only have a few slots open for dinner.) Pretty much any order after that.

I don't think it will be to difficult to get those reservations. And no, I don't think you can upgrade by paying extra.

If it were me, I would book in this order ... 'Ohana, Le Cellier, Chef Mickeys, CRT and then just go in date order. I was able to get a CRT reservation a week or two ago for August (but we are a smaller party) so I am not sure that one is as difficult as it has been in the past. 'Ohana seems to be the toughest one right now.
I don't think the Luau will be difficult either. I will send much pixie dust on your ADR day!

Hi Laurie. Just wanted to let you know I tried to make a LTT reservation for what is a Halloween Party night and had no problems (I even put in for 7 people) and a 5:20pm was available. We are almost 50 days into my 180 so I don't think you will have an issue. It says Dinner is served 4-7pm that night.

Le Cellier, Chef Mickey, TH, CRT, Ohana.
Next I would book any character meals you might be hoping for pre-park opening ADR time. Seating at SOA...I would go for cat 2 if poss. Its a rather intimate seating area, so even cat 3 wouldnt be bad I dont think. Garden Grill and Le Cellier...you might not be able to book those at 180. They will be holding a lot of tables back for CP. If you cant get them, dont despair, just keep checking back. Is LTT going to be the night you go to MVMCP? If you ARE doing MVMCP that night, make an ADR that is NOT during MVMCP time. You dont want to use up party time eating. If you are NOT doing MVMCP that night, you would still want an ADR no later than 6p or so, otherwise you might get a phone call from Disney dining that your ADR will be cancelled if you dont have a MVMCP ticket. I have heard of this happening numerous times. |

I've been reading about people having issues booking at the Epcot restaurants during the CP times......I guess we'll give it our best shot.....but won't freak out if I don't find anything. We're doing the MVMCP on a non-park day.....so we will need to eat dinner during the party....but I figure we'll get to the park around 4pm & eat early when it's still party goers & the people from the day......once 7pm hits....and things thin out & get started.....we'll be ready to go!! |
