We were at the end of a hallway, our balcony overlooked the front entrance / parking lot. Although we could see Tower or Terror. We also had a window on the side of the room that overlooked a convention center patio, but you could also see some of the Illuminations fireworks if you looked out at the right angle.

Our only request was "king room" and we got it. I think the less requests you have the more likely they are to be met, so I always pick the most important thing and request that.
Thank you! I didn't want to be picky and say "King room with tub aka not handicap accessible room" -- it just seemed stranged to request and kinda rude.

I hope that they can meet the request

Thank you for the feedback!

Hey Jenn-Just to let you know the one way to be guaranteed a Boardwalk view is to book a deluxe room. There are 5 on the 3rd floor and 5 on the 4th floor. The lounge is on the 4th floor but the 3rd floor rooms have bigger balconies. Just a heads up if it is something you really want. We book a deluxe room every year for this very reason.

Totally agree.....I do some scrimping and saving just to get that guaranteed boardwalk view, not to mention the fact that the deluxe room is much more spacious.

I've added all my recent photos to the first page, except my room/view photos. There are now photos of Muscles and Bustles health club, the BW Resort branded-merchandise (which I still don't understand why it doesn't say BWI) and more CL lounge photos and views.

I am mainly nervous that we will get a handicap accessible, and while I know that people need this type.. it is just not what I am looking for. I would love a bath tub to relax in this trip

I would love your feedback and experience with this!
On the first page of the thread/post #2, I have a link to a review with photos that was posted by Brunette8706 who stayed recently in a king room. Feel free to PM her (she's very friendly) if you have any questions.

Hi Kook and my fellow Boardwalkians! DBF (his Dis name is Pixel Dust) finally put the photos he took of BW on our March trip up on Smugmug and I thought I'd post them here. Kook, feel free to use any of them you want for the thread.

We also watched Illuminations from the bridge between BW and Epcot.

I know the feeling Erika, these photos are going to help me get through the long wait until I check into Boardwalk next January.

Awww, thank you, bowbat - I appreciate that. I hope that it makes everyone want to go to BWI/BWV and makes it a little easier for everyone to find/get the info. they need to make their trip great.

Even though BWI CL wasn't what we had expected, I really liked the resort itself and its location can't be beat when going to DHS and Epcot. It was great doing an Epcot/MK split.

Oh, thank you, thank you! They are fantastic. I'm going to have to make some room for Pixel Dust's (love that username) photos on the first page. They are quite the thread enhancement so please pass along our thanks to DBF!

You're so welcome! I'm glad I can finally contribute something other than questions to this thread.

Thank you for the info!! We really love the Epcot area and want to try out Boardwalk Inn and if a deluxe room will get us a guaranteed boardwalk view, then we'll go that route!!

Thank you again! I'll be a frequenter of this board now

Hello Disboards community!

My wife and I are planning our first-ever stay at BWI and our first-ever trip to WDW without the kids! (It's our 15th wedding anniversary!!). I'm about halfway through this thread, taking notes, but thought I would ask for advice directly.

Our ideal room would be (in order of importance):
- Club level (standard)
- unobstructed boardwalk/lake view
- 4th floor (to be on same floor as lounge)
- king bed
- spacious balcony

does this exist? if so, advice on how to request it (other than the obvious of just providing the above list in the reservation)? Usually we are not this picky, but I'm trying to get everything we want for what may be our first and only no-kids vacation for at least 15 more years.

Thanks! and now back to reading....
