That's right. Forgot. We'll be there Friday breakfast at the CR, too... No worries, I just always like to extend the offer. Don't forget the Cubans & #1 Dad T-shirt for your Del Boca Vista visit. And I hope you have a Magical trip!!! Wishes that you LOVE the Innkeeper's Club!

We did not find our BWI CL BV room to be noisy at all. We were located across from CL lounge in front of Boardwalk Joe's. The beautiful view and watching the activity on the Boardwalk is the big draw for us. That said, I could definitely see how Villa rooms down by the clubs may possibly be noisier judging from what I heard and saw while sitting out on the balcony late at night. Not having stayed at BWV I can't say that for sure though.

Yes, you certainly can. I like to think they try hard to accommodate requests. Mention it in your email to CL IPO.

Tell me about the busses

We are booked for Dec 18-27 and I am just curious about the busses. I was just reading another thread and everyone complained about BW being the 5th stop and it was impossible to get on a bus at busy times

Obviously, we wont need a bus for Epcot or HS...but how are the busses these days for MK, AK and DTD?

Thanks so much

Maybe we'd be better off asking for a courtyard view that might have a view of Illuminations? Either way, we'd like to be close to the lounge, so I wonder if that changes our viewing options.

CR Resort Fan 4 Life I noticed you mentioned earlier that you always request Boardwalk View. What do you enjoy about it?
Honestly in my opinion the view is not noisy at all. In fact I would say the rooms with a Boardwalk/Crescent Lake view are less noisy then a room at the Contemporary Tower I had which was over Chef Mickey's. Plus their view can't be any different then a Lagoon View at the Yacht Club or Beach Club, because you will still hear the Boat horns at both locations.

As for what I enjoy about it I would say it's going out onto the balcony soaking in all the atmosphere and people watching.

The two times I stayed in a Standard Club Level Room I was in room #4223 which was very close to the lounge. However it's harder to request specifc room numbers because chances are someone could be staying in it when you arrive, so that's something to keep in mind. Basically I would request as close to the lounge as possible and not requesting a specifc room.

The Bus to the Magic Kingdom only shares with the Swan & Dolphin. So the pick up/drop off order is as follows. #1 Boardwalk, #2 Swan, #3 Dolphin and #4 Magic Kingdom. That means when coming back from there the Boardwalk is the 1st stop.

However their Buses to the Animal Kingdom/Blizzard Beach and Downtown Disney/Typhoon Lagoon the Boardwalk is 5th and last stop since it will have already been to the Swan, Dolphin, Yacht Club & Beach Club.

On our first DVC trip, we were awakened a couple of nights at 2 am. Our room was above Crest O' The Wave and people leaving one of the bars were making a lot of noise. I guess they either checked out or did not go out the rest of the nights we were there. It's pretty much a matter of luck. The view is great but there could be a trade off.

Well, last night I explained my dilemma to DH, and he said he'd rather have a view of the water than a potential view of Illuminations, so we are going to take our chances on the noise factor and request a Boardwalk View room close to the lounge.

Thanks so much for the info! We are traveling with 4 kids and a double stroller, so I just want to be prepared as possible.

Is the order you gave Swan, Dolphin, YC, BC, BW the way they PU for AK & DD? Just wondering if it could be easier to walk over to the 1st PU location when going to those particular places if needed.

We are home (or here). I am so happy we got the courtyard view and are close to the lobby. We are in 2270. It is so peaceful in the courtyard right now. Just trying to relax and take it all in.

Hello BWI fans. Just back to the room after a little swim and sun by the quiet pool. This morning we ran over to Epcot specifically to use the 20% off coupon DH received on his receipt at Casey's (he was jonesing for a hot dog Tuesday night!). I love these discounts that are printed on the receipts of most (all?) CS spots. You just have to use them before noon. I had everything shipped back to our resort. Crowds are still medium. We did TSM last night at DHS. We had gotten FP's in the morning and came back to the BWI after a lunch at BD and took the boat back over around 6. Tuesday evening was spent at the MK. I love the Main Street Electrical Parade and Wishes. What I really liked were the special effects on the castle for the new Memories show. I will say that the photograph quality on the castle is lousy. I don't think I'd recognize MYSELF if they flashed my picture up there. But overall the effects are cool. We've not had any transportation issues and am already bummed we have to leave on Saturday

Tonight is dinner at The Flying Fish and tomorrow is AK day. We'll have dinner at the California Grill on Friday night and the MK is open until midnight so we'll have our last "hoorah" until October.

DonaldDuckFamily Sounds like you are already in vacation mode. The room sounds great...good view and good location

kathie859 Supposedly crowds out here at DLR are at their peak this week. I've been avoiding the resort for that reason. Medium-level is pretty good. I love FF...enjoy!

Keep the on-site reports coming! I am both jealous and excited at the same time! (I was going to insert a smiley here, but I'm not sure there's one that fits those two emotions together)

From previous trips, and everything I've read, Boardwalk is ALWAYS the first pickup to the parks. The issue is that they then make other pickups, making the trip longer, and on the way back it's the last drop off, again making the trip longer.

Adding on to the fact that it's located at the Boardwalk you could go for a late meal like at 10:00 PM and be seated right away. That is assuming there is no major sporting event taking place. Whenever I went to eat there it was around that time and never had problems getting a table. Plus they are also open until 1:30 AM and that helps.
I hadn't considered the ESPN club but that's great advice! Thank you!!
