Standard View Room ?

Hi all!

New to the Boardwalk and deluxes! We are staying at BWI in June and have a standard view room reserved. I would like to get as high a floor as I can - is the 5th floor Club only or are some standard rooms there? It appears even number rooms would have views of the courtyard - is that accurate?

I apologize if the answer to these questions is somewhere in this thread - but it is BIG!

TIA

What do you guys think the best water view location is at boardwalk inn?
We had a great BWV right next to Flying Fish and the BW (4th floor/CL):

I did read that if the CL was booked up that they do have a few 'extra' regular rooms on the 4th floor that are out side the CL door.

The rooms outside CL aren't actually overflow rooms, but regular CL rooms that are in a little alcove next to the CL door. They have BW views and the one we were in had an extra large balcony. There are 10 Deluxe rooms, five on the 4th and five on the 3rd.

Would it be worth it to get a first floor room so she has more room to play outside?? Also if we are unlucky and get a parking lot view,i definitely would not want her to be running around near that! Any advice would be appreciated! View? Or room to run??

Ps- if you are on the first floor is it more convenient to get around to the pools etc??

Thanks!

Welcome!
I think it might be nice to just open up the sliding glass door and let your DD run around a bit rather than worry about her out on the balcony.

Welcome! The 5th floor actually isn't CL, they are Standard Rooms and I have photos on the first page of a lovely 5th floor room that has a view of Illuminations and Epcot.

Thanks for that information. I think I did know at one point that it was 5 rooms on each floor (3rd and 4th) that was Deluxe CL, but we have been planning since November and it seems it got lost in my mind. lol

How close are the Deluxe rooms that are on the 4th floor to the lounge? If we happen to get a 3rd floor Deluxe room is there a short cut to the lounge?

I am getting so excited. We only have 26.5 days until we arrive at the BWI.

We stayed in a deluxe CL room on the 4th floor. We were the first door on the left inside the CL door, and I want to say we were about 10-15 rooms (counting doors on one side of the hall, not back and forth) away from the lounge? I can't find a floorplan anywhere to confirm the specific number, but it was very close!

Valet question...

Hi all. We're considering BWV for a few days of our October trip (if we can find a good deal on point rental). If we valet the car and don't use it for a few days, how are the charges handled? TIA!

Dumb question - would someone kindly refresh my memory on this...

All of the Club-level deluxe rooms at BWI are BW view, right?

(thanks in advance)

Yes. Five are on the 4th floor which is where the lounge is and five are on the 3rd floor.

I am looking for trip reports of people that stayed at BWI (for that trip report). Does anyone have any links to some? Did you write one yourself? I am just getting so excited for our trip and would love to read about other peoples trips at the same resort. :D

Hi all, I'm not sure if this had been asked recently...
Has the Boardwalk Bakery reopened yet?
and AllEars has the pool bar listed as closed, did it reopen when the pool did or is it indeed closed?

TIA We arrive in just 24 days for a pre cruise stay!!!

I read that it is suppose to open April 26th or 28th? I know it is a day or two before we arrive and we get in on the 29th. I don't know about the pool bar though.

The pool bar had re-opened during our 3-3 to 3-8 stay last month.
