We stayed in a Deluxe CL room in 2009. Here are some pics!

View of the boat dock (to the left) from our balcony

View to the right from our balcony

Steeplechase Suite Balcony (directly to our right.) They actually let us in to tour the suite- so cool!

My husband on our balcony (no, he didn't purposely coordinate his shirt with the awning ) He's 6'5" if that helps give you an idea of the size of the balcony.

The beds

Sleeper Sofa

We were a little bummed with the 'dinosaur' TV, but we didn't even use it much, so no biggie.

Our room was the top left one with the blue awning. As you can see, you either get the small balcony, but close to the lounge OR a big balcony, but a floor below the lounge.

It was FABULOUS to have all that room, however, I will say the only reason we were able to swing it was because they were offering the buy 4, get 3 free deal! I wish they'd go back to deals like that, and including suites & ALL resorts in the offers!!

At one point people were wondering if SAB would be open to BWI guests during refurbishment...The below is from Allears.net

http://allears.net/news/top-news.htm?id=591

2) WDW Boardwalk Luna Pool closure begins January 28th - early March. Shuttles will take Boardwalk guests to Stormalong Bay at the Beach and Yacht Club. Check with the Front Desk for times and current details.

This looks promising- still holding out hope for breakfast sandwiches in the morning, and not just pasteries! If anyone can scope it out during one of these upcoming mornings, I'd be so grateful!

Hello all... we just booked our 1st stay at the BWI and i have a question... (1st of MANY i am sure)...do they do a nighttime movie anywhere? When we stayed at the Poly they had movies on the beach and we really loved that. Also, can you sit at the Boardwalk and see the fireworks from Epcot? Thanks!!!

Update: yes, there are sandwiches, same as were carried at Boardwalk Bakery, and even salads at breakfast offerings in the tent on the boardwalk. I even saw some cranberry orange muffins in the shape of Mickey ears.

Thank you so much! Given the somewhat limited quick breakfast options in the area, this is good news!

We are so excited! We just booked 7 nights in August! It will be our first stay at the Boardwalk. We need to call tomorrow to add 1 more night since can only book 7 nights at a time. We were able to get the standard view, which fits the points we have left for next year. Now the wait is here!

Got a letter from the resort today confirming this as well. Now if it will just be warm enough to swim!

The Beach Club shows movies on the beach. It's relatively near BW -- across the lake.

I'd like to know, too. It looks like Kuerig machines on the BWV side. I found a photo for a BWI standard room's coffee service on allears here: http://allears.net/acc/bw/bwi2010m.jpg
