I would love to see Spectro again! DH loves the MSEP though, but he's never seen Spectro.

I really love the way everyone has their favorite - it seems to be such a generation thing - or nostalgia. Whatever parade you saw your "first time"!
I just wish Disney would update that website with more specifics, rather than just Summer 2012!!

That website is not a Disney Website.

Spectro returning makes me so happy!!! I really hope the rumors are true and it returns before September. I saw the MSEP as a child, but Spectro is my all time favorite thing to do at WDW! It's completely magical.

Haven't heard anything about it, but I'd be happy to see Spectro back! I love it!

I saw MSEP for the first time around Thanksgiving. Then again around New Years....

I'm ready for Spectro to come back. Even with the creepy masks at the beginning!

I love MSEP. I think it is far superior to Spectro...BUT, I've seen MSEP a few times over the last few years and would welcome a chance to revisit Spectro. Either way, as long as I am in Disney they can parade a bunch of garbage trucks down the street and I'd still be in 7th heaven!

Would love for this rumor to be true! Why? I've never seen Spectromagic and would love to.

We saw, MSEP the last two years and we like it, but would love to see something new (well, old but brought back )

I know it probably wont happen for our trip, but if it did show up in early may, I cant describe how happy I would be. The music itself just brings back so many memories of trips with my grandmother.

As much as I love MSEP.. Spectro brings back memories of my first trip to WDW. Really hope it returns in time for my graduation trip next September so my parents can see it

I was so thrilled to MSEP again in 2010 but was disappointed in a couple of things. The redo took away the Dumbo portion, which was really fun, and the updated music on a synthesizer is too repetitive and lacks personality of the original version. The original had the harpsichord which really had some "heart" to it. The current version is much flatter.

We were tired of Specto and were glad to see MSEP. But we're ready for Spectro to come back too. My favorites are the Flora, Fauna and Merriweather floats. They are SO beautiful.

FYI The old version wasn't done on a harpsichord but a Moog analog Synthesizer. I believe the current version is done on a digital keyboard. But yes the older Moog would had a warmer sound do to being analog just like some guitarists prefer tube based amps.

The thing is these Moog synths are still around and used to this day.
