Merrytime Cruise- New Activities

Ok, they have added three new activities to the list for the Merrytime Cruises. Does anyone know anything about these?

Will the Winter Wonderland Ball take place the same night as formal night?

Here is the link announcing the new activities-

Thank you for this. I get on the Dream on December 29 and not sure if this ends then or its included. Its shows December 29 but do not know if that means the sailing or the last day of the sailing prior to mine. Can anyone please take a look and please let me know if you think the Dream will still be with its decorations and special things? We sail December 29-January 2. Thank you.

I am wondering if the Magic will still be decorated for our cruise which leaves on December 28. Like the previous poster, I'm curious if the decorations come down after the cruise that arrives on December 28 or after/during our cruise.
Any ideas?

Typically, decorations come down at the end of the cruise that sails over New Year's Eve. According to the DCL website the inclusive date for the Magic for the Very MerryTime cruises is "Disney Magic November 9, 2014 - December 28, 2014", so, I'm pretty sure you'll have decorations.

Yes. From the DCL website for the Dream: Disney Dream November 10, 2014 - December 29, 2014 (inclusive dates)

Since the first cruises doing these activities have just departed in the last 2 days, I doubt that anyone can update you any sooner than this weekend.

I am hoping we get an update today from someone getting off the Dream today. I email concierge about these events, but they gave me no real information on them.

New Year Cruise on Wonder

I've never done a New Year's Cruise, and I'm wondering what type of activities they have. Is the ship still decorated for Christmas? Can I assume that our formal night will be NYE?

I sailed on the Fantasy over NYE last year. The ship still had all of the holiday decorations up. Formal night was on NYE and they saved the Pirate Night fireworks for NYE. We had 2 semi-formal nights instead of 1. On NYE there was a party up on deck. Champagne/apple juice was passed out as well as appetizers.

Just off the Dream. There was a tree lighting ceremony, Deck the hall party by the pool, Mrs. Claus read 2 stories, Santa was out one night for some pictures. Gingerbread house was almost done. You could sign up to decorate a gingerbread house but tickets limited. Kids clubs offrered card making. There was Xmas on the public speaker taking over normal Disney music. Castaway Cay has been decorated as well. Only deco on ship is garland in atrium and trees.
