Just checking in. Sorry, I've been a bad Moover lately. Not much to report, s.oame old stuff. Except I went to the Dr. this week to get a physical cause I needed my BP meds renewed. Now he's sending me to yet another DF. and thinks I may have had a heart attack (not that I noticed) and send me for a stress test after I go back next week for lab results. Plus I have to see the Neurosurgeaon on Tuesday and still have to make an appt with the lung specialist. I can't tell you how much I regreat not getting the 90% insureance coverage in Novemeber. Through all this, I feel fine, I had no clue I was close to death, LOL (kidding - maybe?)

I decided to get my nails doen again, did I say that already? I'll endure the boredom to feel nicer. Plus I really need a haircut soo bad. And I have to go grocery shopping for some better foods, which also means I have to clean out the freezer to make room. Plus it's forecast week again, and I made my dr. appt for the busiet day, not realizing it. So much to do, so little time.

I confess, I havent caught up on reading, so pleae forgive me for lack of comments, I'll try to get back on track very soon.

How did your cessation of smoking do??? that would be the main one...cause it helps with even our bp...

OKEY this is news...we got a snow storm during the night...and I woke up and looked out the window...it may be only three inches or so....but it is so gorgeous out there...I took two photos and hubby will fix it for me to put on my email..It is simply a winter beauty photo...I cant believe something so dreadful as the white stuff can be so pretty...hahaha........YAH DONT FAINT I said that..

Remember in two weeks we do the clocks I think...and then I know we are almost to spring and summer....

Hope you all have a good day...I may stay in my housecoat for a bit..

I love you all and appreciate everyone of you....someone told me it was friendship day...so you are my dear friends...some facial strangers but some I have hugged...

Marita-- that sounds stressful just reading it.

We were suppose to get a big snow storm. Well we got snow then rain , and snow again, even the sun out for a bit and rain again last night. You needed rain boots instead of winter boots to go walking on the sidewalks. They were all slush for a while. Now we have patches of snow here and sidewalk cleared themselves. Some kids even had a snow day called the night before ......we did not. My kids went to school yesterday.

Hubby toke me to the show last night we went to see The Decendants with George Clooney. It was good. Lots of kids swearing and disrespectful though. Definitely a chick flick. I do love that we can leave the kids for a few hours on there own. No babysitter needed.

Everyday is friendship day here. I too am happy for my internet friends.

Just had to post this here:

regardless of how far into the future said trips may be. This cruise (on which we wrote the TR) was luv's first, and it was so enjoyable, so special, that another cruise after the wedding seemed a natural choice to extend the celebration. I already have a few items about which to start a pre-TR for the 2013 event, but 17 months out seems a little long to begin typing one.
Looks like Sheridac is getting married to Sleepydog

I stayed up and watched the Oscars last night , usually I don't but a saw a few of the movies and wanted to see how they did. Never saw the wining one though. The Artist.

Now I am tired this morning. Should have just recorded the last hour. Do love that it is brighter when I get up in the morning though. Clocks go ahead soon.

Not much happening here. Can't believe Feb is almost over. This month is flying by fast.

Marita-- do you have to work any extra hours for that 24 hour park opening for leap year? Is it only one park I can't remember?

good morning everyone..

Just ordered the finger rolls...for Saturday's surprise 40th for my baby....I will do the rest of the food but these always go over good...people like to hold those little sandwiches and not worry about other stuff...

The sun isnt cooperating today at all...I miss that cause it warms up the house so nicely..

Just think..not many more days in Feb and then it will be March...I am wishing away the cold weather and get onto spring and summer...

We bought a small 22 inch tv for the kitchen yesterday and today hubby will have to go to time warner and get that little adapter thingie so we can watch the bottom channels...we have the boxes for the two big tv's and one adapter for our granddaughters room tv...so this one will be good so I can cook and relax upstairs without running down here or to our bedroom to listen to the last part of NCIS which is always while I am cooking...hahaha..

have a good everyone..

Pumba-- we always had a tv in the kitchen growning up. Now our family room is off the kitchen so I can see our big 50" while cooking, and doing the dishes. Love it. But I turn it off while we're eating with some exceptions.

The sun is shining and it is mild again here , but they say another storm is coming. Hope it is like all our storms this year. They only last a few hours and then are gone as is the snow.

Happy Leap Day!

How neat it would be to be born on this day. I am sure it comes with some problems too. The paper work alone when you want to retire.

Marita--Hope you get good results on you MIR

Well they were calling for another storm here but it is just snowing out there. It's called winter. I did see on the news that down south is getting tornados. Scary stuff. We were suppose to start with freezing rain , didn't get that, this snow is suppose to turn to rain so hopefully we won't see any.

Moo-- did you watch Biggest Loser. I felt so bad for Chism, missing only by a pound.. Was hoping Kim would have gone home.Santa and Chris really need the prize money. I do not think Cassandra is going to keep off that weight. Just watching her bake cookies and eating one tells me this, even though she was proud of eatting just one. More drama next week with another switch. Crazy.

Nabbie - I didn't feel too sorry for Chism since he won that $10,000 and I was a little ticked that he was one of the contestants who piled on to the hating of Daphne and her brother. I would have preferred to see Kim go home too. Or better yet, Conda. I was shocked that she lost over 5%.

Pumba - SO sad to hear about Davy Jones

Marita - Hope you're doing better. I'm starting to get a bit stressed over my knee surgery . . .

Getting lots of tweets from MK about the 24 hr day - dh has a friend there that keeps texting him!

Moo - sorry to hear your nerves are up, that's completely understandable! hugs

Pumba - what an up and down year for the weather! wonder what the summer will bring? No rain? Too much rain? Heat? not enough heat? you just never know - but its March - so woohoo summer's almost here!! (we had 56 degrees and sunshine most of the day - then bam - clouds and WIND!)

Nab - I read on my brother's FB wall - he was almost a leap baby! He was born on a leap year - but on March 1st! I never knew that! I was thinking, poor thing has to wait 24 hours to turn another year older but this is how its supposed to be!! roflol

Nab and Moo - the spoilers for BIggest Loser has me so curious!! Chism was too nice for this group of drama... I really believe the producers felt they needed to amp up the drama, the last couple of seasons have been really nice - but I dont like the drama! I want more hints, and tips - what do they do 24/7 ( or maybe 16/7! lol maybe they sleep 8 hours?!!)

nothing new here - its depressing. Hoping something will pan out for dh. hoping dd will continue being successful...

I LOVED loved LOVED The Monkees - and of course, Davey Jones... so sad. Love the music.

hey hey with the monkeys....Yes I loved him too....who wouldnt of....so young too...breaks your heart...
He was supposed to be one of the flower power concerts during our stay but they changed him to the end of the concert in May...we still will be seeing Hermans hermits and EO something ...We will miss the songs that filled the American Pavilion...he was great..

Well guess what....its snowing ...and we are in the 8-12 inch area....Now do I have to remind you that I dont like this stuff... I think I say it every winter storm...But closing is still on...I am wicked excited...HONEST...three pm and it will be the Potential buyers..who will be the new owner...it is a great house ...built thru the years with love...started off as a one floor with an attic...then built up the attic to another apt...then third floor went on where that attic was...so it was a family home from the beginning...my mom lived on all three floors,.we lived on the third and then the first...then my sister lived on the second and the third...so we all moved around and hubby and I were the ones that were asked if we wanted to buy it...and we did...we put mega bucks into it...to make it a great home...I hope that he loves it as much as we did..
THAT BEING SAID...
I LOVE MY NEW HOUSE...it is something I say every day...I just love the layout the rooms and two full bathrooms...how can anyone say anything else different...I love it ..

Marita...this is for you....

that was a silent prayer for you to have great results with your MRI...hugs and love to you

Pumba-- It is a snow day here for us , we got freezing rain overnight and this morning and now we are getting big snowflakes on top of that.

Kids still go to school since the schools are open , one walks and one takes public transit. I could keep them home but Hannah likes it because they get to socialize most of the day instead of really work. This is the first snow day at high school so not sure what they do with them there.

I have seen Herman Hermits before at a local bar a few times. My husband loved the Monkee's he has a c.d. too.

Well Hannah was suppose to have skating today that will be cancelled as her lunch lady. So I better go make a lunch for her.

Moo-- When is your surgery?

Marita-- how were the test results?

Sandy-- hear you on the weather. Hope we get a spring and summer. Hope your husband finds something soon.

Pumba - how nice to hear you love your new house. sorry about that white stuff falling from the sky...

Marita - hope all went well!

Nab - snow days and the school's are open? What a concept! I'm surprised at how long the school doors are open - dd left her book for English class at school, and at 7pm dh drove her over to find it!

There's a Monkee Marathon - that movie they made, they just showed a clip - its really bad! I've always enjoyed the music, it was right at my level!

Ireland signed the sopa law! (internet restrictions - big restrictions, dh is home giving me updates!) Thanks for the wishes, positive thoughts for dh. I hate this. so much!
