Best restaurants to view fireworks?

What are the best restaurants from which to view the fireworks at either MK or Epcot? Please include both table service & casual options. Thanks!

Wink Nine Dragons

I read somewhere that this was good for fireworks watching...but that maybe the food wasn't so good?

There really isn't any good fireworks viewing from any of the restaurants in the MK. CRT offers an interesting view from inside, but it's best if you've already seen them. From outside the MK, there are pretty good options at Narcoossee's (Grand Floridian) and California Grill (Contemporary).

For Epcot, the best viewing is from Rose & Crown (UK). There are some tables with a good view from La Hacienda (Mexico).

In all cases, none of the restaurants will guarantee a table with a view. Sometimes they will let you request one, but even they will not guarantee you a table in time for the show. Luckily, some have alternative options (e.g., Narcoossee's has a veranda, Cali Grill has an observation deck, and Rose & Crown has a reserved viewing area).

The view from the Veranda at Narcoossee's:

The view of IllumiNations from the reserved viewing area at the Rose & Crown:

La Hacienda at Epcot has fantastic views of Illuminations, if you are lucky enough to get a window table.

Another option is the Main St. Electrical Parade during dinner! If you want to be IN Magic Kingdom, and a have show during dinner, book Tony's and ask to sit on the deck during the parade!!

If you were to have dinner at Big River Grille & Brewing Works at the Boardwalk Inn/Boardwalk Villas and ask to sit at a table outside, you will be able to see Illuminations from there.

Depending on where you are seated, you might be able to see the show from Chefs de France.
