And she fed the expired and foraged food to the kids she was babysitting. I have a problem with that. What if everyone got sick? And the reused tp- hope she has a really good washer and lots of bleach, but oh wait a min- they make their own cleaning supplies. Eww.

Yes I have a problem with that too. So gross. Oh did you hear her say the ecoli doesn't live thru the wash cycle, she doesn't use bleach

If I were the other parents I would have been upset over the old food

I have a problem with that too. Do you honestly think that epople would let their children eat there if they knew this? I bet after this show they sure wont. That can't be safe to buy way outdated food like that. I think the sauce that she bought was years outdated.

They potty thing is even worse!

Ick!! Taking leftovers from others - ewwwww. How does he know that someone wasn't ill and out to eat, sneezed on their plate, etc. The possibilities are endless. GROSS.

I also don't get the 2 ply thing. Wouldn't you just use 2x as much single ply so there's no difference?

I just think TLC likes to air shock shows, I would find it hard to believe that they do this stuff all the time.

I would watch a show about people who creatively budget but not this out there type stuff. Not planning to watch this again.

I didn't get the other people's leftovers thing, but I wasn't paying particularly close attn. Did they clarify what he was using them for?

At first they certainly made it seem as if he was taking the stuff home to eat but then he was on about the cost of having their dogs, so I thought they were going to say he gave the leftovers to the dogs to supplement their dogfood. Then I don't think they said that but that was kind of what I assume... anyone?

Missed it. Going to use TV Guide app to find it again & have it remind me to watch. Growing up with a cheapskate dad, this could be entertaining! Glad he's not as bad as what you described though.

And I've heard of the clothe TP before. ewww. Not my thing!

Darn. My TV Guide app says won't be on again here until Jan 10, Tues at 8pm & 11pm. Setting the reminder anyway though.

If you are still awake, I think it comes back on in about 30 minutes.

If I heard it correctly, the man told the butcher he had 7 dollars in change to buy the meat with. 7 dollars and you choose to buy goat heads? You could buy a lot of different things with that amount of money and not have to resort to goat heads. That's not being a cheapskate, that's being weird.

Ohhhh I watched. I was sick from watching. Everything was so extreme that I don't even know where to start commenting!! I couldn't turn it off though... it was like a train wreck!!

I mean sure... I keep extra napkins and straws in my car, and I have a little stash of ketchup in my office drawer. We've even been known to finish each others left overs at work at night when one of us is starving and the other is ready to throw the rest of their lunch away.

It's a wholeeeeeeee other level to put packets into a ketchup container (I bet the bottom of it has ketchup from 1984 and is gross), take leftovers from strangers, and rely on freebies and condiments from outside places for your real life!! If DH ever dumpster dived for my anniversary gift I would be irate!! Or reused someone else's card and scratched out certain parts?? That's just over the top. We're picky about the brand of our toilet paper, let alone not using it at all!! Ewww! That bucket has to stink up the whole place!! The expired food had me outraged!!! What if those people got sick?? It's one thing to contaminate your family--but others?? That's sooooo wrong!! Then there's the goat heads No. I would rather eat off the dollar menu at McDonalds!

I guess I found a new train wreck to watch

I've not watched it.. but I have to ask.. is there actual meat on a goat's head?? I mean, I know some people eat stuff like tongues, but besides that, what else could you eat? Is it safe to eat the brains? I heard that brains were very high in cholesterol. hmmm.. do you get head cheese from goat heads? I'm dazed and confused at this point and think I might need to find this program.
