I season with Badia Sazon Completa (you can use whichever seasoning you like, we just happen to always have Badia) and keep browning them up until they're just a bit crunchy outside but still soft in the middle. Quick and painless, done in less than 15 minutes!
Oh that does sound good. We just had the quiche with toast because I never got around to making the potatoes

I really need to grocery shopping. My financial aid from school is supposed to be here possibly today or tomorrow. I have a ton of Groupons to use and we might eat out tonight. Otherwise I am whipping something up when I get home. I have a freezer full of chicken and ground beef. The fall chill is in the air. When it starts getting cold I make at least one soup a week.

My daughter's Birthday is coming up in a few weeks too She's under the impression she's inviting the entire school (she's 6 and very social) I think it's going to be she and two other friends. I also get to make cupcakes for her class. I like that her birthday is around Halloween. One year we had a costume party Birthday and last year her birthday was on the Dream and at CRT. That's a hard one to top! I think this year we are taking she and two of her friends to Chuck E Cheeses.

I do that too sometimes but they come out more like "homefries." I just slice them with the skins on. if I have the time I boil the potatoes for about 25 minutes and then let them cool. Then I remove the skin and fry them. That way they are partially cooked and come out in actual slices. I also cover them several times throughout the process because I like the little browned potatoes.

Went off course again last night. :/ Was supposed to cook in but got a terrible headache just before dinner and ibuprofen didn't help much, so we just grabbed pizza.
Tonight is going to be Asian night; General Tso's chicken, fried rice & potstickers.
Tomorrow - Likely be fast food, as it's my lil sis's first volleyball game, so DBF and I will grab something afterwards.
Saturday - bbq baked chicken with potatoes & a TBD veggie.
Sunday - Either pasta w/ ground turkey or Manwiches with ground beef.

Got more ground turkey in the freeze that I have to come up with ideas for, lol.

It's been a crazy week around here. My low tire pressure light came on on Monday and I had a training an hour and 45 minutes away on Tuesday so we had to go and get it checked out. Nail in the darn thing...ugh! Sober grabbed Sonic while we were out.

Tuesday we had chicken lettuce wraps

Wednesday DH and DD ate at Burger King before dance and I grabbed Arby's on my way home from training.

Tonight DH had a "parent class" to attend (for when DSS 16 got caught egging :-/ ) so he grabbed something before that and DD and I had scrambled eggs and bagels.

Tomorrow is football and I have no idea what we'll eat but I'm waaaayyyy over fast food!

Thanks for stopping by! I don't blog as much as I would like because I am taking 9 credits this semester but I try to post when I try or make something new. I have to go grocery shopping today.

I might be making tamales this weekend. I get a credit in my Spanish class for it and we are all out! I usually make about 7 dozen at a time.

This is my menu for next week so far:
crock pot chicken pozole or chili
enchiladas
Shepherds pie (maybe in the crock pot)
tamales and sauce?
kielbasa and egg noodles
pressure cooker pot roast
taffy apple salad: been craving this one!
I think I am adding breakfast for dinner too with Trisha Yearwoods' quiche and I found these Hungry Jack instant hash browns that are awesome!

If you want easy, we love to do indvidual pizzas on pita pockets. Everyone can build their own pizza. We make it "old school" with tomato sauce, mozz cheese and toppings. We also like it with BBQ sauce, cheddar, grilled chicken and chives.
