What is the AAA room % discount on Pop late July/early Aug. 2012?

My sister and her family are planning a trip to WDW late July 2012 for my niece's HS graduation. I don't expect her to be able to get free dining at that time, and am hoping there will be a room discount available - she's booking 2 rooms at Pop. I told her worst case, she'd always have AAA. What is the % off at a value resort during that timeframe?

Thanks!

We have only saved about 5% during summer months with AAA but it was better than no savings. I will bet however that there will be a Disney Resort Room Only Discount Promotion for the Summer, I might wait a bit to book

What about any discounts for this January. I have an opportunity to fly down with my son for the 15-18th. I am starting to look at hotels. I won't have a car so I'd like to be in Disney or Downtown Disney. Trying to save some money since I likely won't be in the room much. Its either the Lake Buena Vista (Best Western) or the Pop Century.

You can generally save about 10%-20% at the Disney resort hotels, depending on the season.

2012 AAA/CAA "room only" discounts were released on June 10, 2011 so you may or may not be able to get one for January. All you can do is call and ask.

There's a room only discount going on now and I think it includes January.

The AAA room only discount for me was 10% on a moderate resort. I booked it. I figure if no other discount comes out, at least I'll have some sort of discount. This was for end of November 2012.

We booked though AAA for next Aug. 11-16 for a 2 bedroom villa at the Beach Club and we saved $800 with the AAA discount. Waiting to see if anything else comes along that can beat that but am really happy with that for now. This included park tickets with hopper and dining plan.

I did get a discount. Apparently they were a code in the system next to my name from my last visit (10 years ago!). I can't believe it was that long ago. Anyway they quoted me 600 for 3 nights in POFQ including 1 2day ticket. I thought that was pretty good. I wonder if I can use the AAA discount on top of that.
