The Daily Grind ~12/19/11~

Christmas week is upon us! YIKES!! I'm trying to not be like this

Started wrapping yesterday...realized I got the wrong thing for DH, and had to reorder

Today I have to:

Wrap some more

Mop kitchen floor

Call to reschedule dentist appt

See what DH brings in from Wallymarts for stocking and plan list to get the rest of the stuff

Pack a dinner for work
Work @3p

Good Morning!

I hope everyone is enjoying their time until Christmas.

Today:
shop for a few groceries
shop for the church baskets (I will pick up my groceries at the same time)
get gift tags and gifts for angel tree children
get last stocking stuffers
mom and dad are here so I do lunch and dinner
lunch- burgers and chips
dinner- smoked turkey, green beans, carrots, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce

It's Monday. I'm tired, don't want to be at work. Yep, it's Monday. I've got residual pain from the migraine yesterday. I'd love to be at home wrapping.

Tomorrow I've got to do the last of my shopping, I hope! I'm going to plan out my route tonight, so I can get everything done in as few stops as possible.

Good morning to you too.
It is a busy week - teach through Friday noon - then get the plans going for dinner. My daughters and their families, my family and friends are here for Christmas Eve, a family tradition.
Almost all the gifts are wrapped- earliest I can remember in yrs.
Baking for my students starting tonight as dd4 is baking for her students on Tues and Wed evenings.

Rebecca (Love the name as it also belongs to my dd#2) hope you have a wonderful time with your parents.
Debbie and Jennifer - try and relax, even wth your left-over migraine - and have a good day.

I have everything wrapped, stockings stuffed...just waiting for the big day! First time this has ever been done early!!!
Im going to start sorting the swaps today to be postal tomorrow afternoon!
I plan to do some scrapping today
DD is completing 2 ~ 4-H record sheets
DS15 is completing two rabbit activities
DS11 is completing two rabbit activities

Deep breath. Yes, only six days to go before Christmas and I can take a breath. Going away on business right after Thanksgiving, then the black germies hit, I wasn't sure I would even get the gift wrapping done. Spent all day Saturday wrapping but it is done. Unfortunately holiday cards are most likely not going out this year, but hey that happens.

My Monday to do:

Feed cats
Load woodstove
Make lunches. DH is home sick. He normally does lunches but not today.

Bring wood in for the woodstove
Get DD up and ready for school. DD slept from 9:30 pm to 6:30 am. Very unusual for her. I check on her several times to make sure she was breathing. lol
caffeinate
work
balance checkbook
pay bills
call speech pathologist
Go to Radio Shack to pick up Bluetooths on sale as stocking stuffers.
Dinner - Baked parmesan chicken
oversee tubby time

Hey All!
Looks like I'm in really good company as all I have left to do is wrap and everyone else seems to be on top of their game too!
Maybe we can all take a moment to breathe!

Reddy, naps do seem to help and glad to hear your feeling a bit better.
My only major thing to do is finish SS gift, I lost alot of time and now Im trying to make up for it. Its due Friday for work and it has to be handmade and everyone at work was "What are you goinf to scrap?"!

Just wanted you all to know that I may not post much but I do lurk and when I do I miss everyone!
Here's to a good week and a healthy one!
Will check in again befoe the Big Day!
