I'm going to try to start planning my graduation trip over break and your PTR and soon TR are a great source of excitement and inspiration!

And maybe you two will bring home a little 'souvenir'
Good gravy I hope not

I am glad you enjoyed AKL. I am trying to make sure we have enough time to enjoy it! Thankfully, most of the days we are there the crowds are supposed to be low, so I am hoping we get everything we want to done, and can go relax!

Just remember... the best times to ride the giraffes bare back is in the early morning, before security is out patrolling the savannah in force.

Plans....

Though the idea of this trip is going to be relaxation, and going with the flow... we need some plans, or we aren't going to eat!

Current ADRs (subject to change as I sub-come to another fit of some sort)

1/9 (Travel day)
Boma - dinner

1/10
The Plaza - lunch

1/11
Tusker House Brunch
Hoop De Doo! - 8:30 (CAT 1!!!)

1/12
Le Cellier 11:50

1/13 ~ Our second wedding anniversary ~
Crystal Palace - Pre-opening breakfast
Tony's Town Square - 8:45 (after wishes!)

1/14
NONE!!!!?????

1/15
O'hana - Late Breakfast

So the issue arises that we are only on the standard dining plan, and I have been adding reservations as things become available, but not canceling

We are three meal a day people, so we just need to figure out what we are going to pay for out of pocket!

I didn't realize you had started this! You need to alert me on facebook for new trip info!

so- YAY, YAY, YAY, YAY!

I'm so excited that you'll be back so soon, and you're just going to DIE when you see those savannah views!

We LOVED the jambo house studios, and I know you will too, what an awesome surprise!

We are now under two weeks, and it is time to start packing! I am caught up in the epic, and ongoing battle with myself about how many pairs of ears I should pack!!!!

But really, I am worried about the layers. Last time we went in January, we didn't pack enough layers, and there was a record cold snap. I hate over packing, but hate underpacking even more.

Anyone want to pack for me?

Wow! A spontaneous Disney trip?!?!? I guess if you're going to start being spontaneous, you might as well go big!

Looks like a lot of fun. I'd love to just pick up the phone and book a trip on short notice, but I might lose a wife in the process.

We like to go big or go home... Well we are new at this spontaneous thing so bear with us, as I still have a color coded spreadsheet

I just checked the 10 day forcast, and the temps range from the 50s to the mid 80s. This should be interesting!

Joshua and I spent yesterday scrapbooking old Disney trips, and trying to clean out my large stash of random Disney stuff (yes I had paperplates tucked away from the year of a million dreams )

Josh even got in on the scrapping, and put together our Muppets page!!

On a side note, this photo was taken with my snazzy new smartphone. This phone has apps that will keep track of all sorts of Disney stuff for me, and a countdown on the front screen!!!

I will by trying to "check in" when I can, I was inspired by CandleontheWater when she took her October trip, and was super jealous as she checked in at all sorts of fun places. If you are bored, her trip reports are some of the funniest I have ever read.

So now I have stopped procrastinating, and started packing. However, I have come to halt.

What, you ask has made it into the luggage? 3 swimsuits, my swim cover, and a few toiletries. Nothing else. At all.

I have discovered that I only own 2 pairs of jeans that really truly fit. I don't wear them often now, where I am working full time, so it has never been an issue! So off to the mall area the husband and I must go today.

Lucky has become upset that the suitcases are out. He knows what they mean.

So I leave you, with a sad photo of Lucky, to hold you all over :

Hehe I love his ear in this one

Poor Lucky. Our dog does the same thing. Does Lucky still get to go to doggie day care while you are away? Thanks for posting the link on FB.

You will love AKV Jambo House!

Packing is the WORST! Disney is the most magical place on earth, right? So why can't my clothes magically appear in my hotel room!

I love that Josh is scrapbooking a muppet page, while wearing muppet pants- too awesome!

I'm also happy that your waitlist came through, I know some people love split stays, but to me that just means extra packing.

Oh and thanks for the shout-out!
