this is not possible in the CSR???
You can bring your mugs, and they can fill it for you. Or, they'll bring cups with drinks (included in dining plan, otherwise you pay for the drinks). That's one thing I don't like about Pepper Market. I like getting my own drink.

It's my recollection that when you walk in, the server explains how it works. It was a nice place. I just thought a 15% gratuity was a but much for someone who simply seated us and brought us drinks.
What's nice about this system is that you pay AFTER you eat your food, so nothing gets cold while you're waiting in line. You select your food, they stamp your card, then you eat. If you want dessert, just bring your card over to the dessert station and they'll stamp it there when you pick your dessert. This is nice if you're getting ice cream as it'll be fresh when you eat dessert.

Here is a photo I took of my entree and the stamp card is beside it.

I really DO want to live there!
I circulate my paper clips at work so they all get used or I feel like they'd be sad if they didn't get a "turn".

The mug filling station is right there next to the Pepper Market. We would fill our drinks on the way in to the Pepper Market - we didn't give them to the servers to fill.

When we were there in April we had no stamp cards. They told us they didn't do that any more. It was basically just like a buffet. We ordered drinks (unless we filled up our own mugs) and then walked up and got what we wanted and sat and ate. We were on the DDP, so maybe that's the difference?

Speaking of the buffet, I was looking at pictures and it looks like 9 and over are charged as adults? All the other WDW restaurants are 10 and over, 9 is still considered a child. We have a 9 year old daughter who doesn't eat much at all and I'd hate to have to pay the adult price for her.

That is a good idea to fill the mug before going to Pepper Market, though we usually get refills during the meal. I guess we could fill our mugs, and then still order a drink (covered by DDP) at Pepper Market so we'd have 2 drinks and not want a refill.

There are no bottles of Coke served, so you won't be taking a bottle back to your room to stock up on beverages. As you can see in my photo, my iced tea was served in a plastic glass and so were our other drinks.

Yes--no cards for buffet meals but dinner is a non-buffet. I thought that the buffet was a trial run, but it looks like it's sticking around for a while.

Does anyone know if the refill station has the iced tea option with 4 flavors of tea? I loved that at POFQ!!

I'm not sure about the age pricing at Pepper Market, but if I had to pay adult buffet price for a 9 yo I'd be looking into a poolside meal at the Dig Site or one of the grab and go options at other locations.

This was the refill station in April 2012. I know off to the right there was a container of tea, but I don't drink tea so I didn't pay much attention to it. I don't believe there were 4 flavors tho. There was also a hot cocoa machine there, too!

Thanks! That tea machine you mentioned is probably the one I'm hoping is there.

While this is true & we have been staying at CSR for our annual Disney trips for years...too many times to count, housekeeping on our last stay, August 2011 was the worst it had been in all our trips there. I called several times to complain about the refrigerator not being cold enough & being told it was not a refrigerator, but rather it was a cooler . Also, called housekeeping about our room still not being made up at 2:30 in the afternoon, then another day the beds were made, but none of the dirty towels removed or sink area cleaned. All of these times no apology made & the person I spoke to seemed bothered that I called. We also found a sock under the very edge of the bed, peeking out & several fruit loops by the desk, which remained there the entire trip (should have easily been vacuumed). This contributed to our decision to go on a cruise this summer on Norwegian Cruise Line. The 1st thing I said to my DH upon inspecting our stateroom was that Disney should take a lesson from NCL....our stateroom was immaculate, bathroom included.

Here's the ironic part of my bad housekeeping story.....we are actually returning to CSR to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary for a few days in Sept. My husband surprised me with the idea since it was a special anniversary year, but of course I did the planning. Originally we wanted to book POFQ since we were disgusted with the housekeeping last time, but they only had a water view room. So to save $, we went with CSR. I am hoping for the best with housekeeping, but am a little nervous with some of the recent reviews.

Bus stops

I keep reading reviews of people saying that if they go to bus stop 4 that a lot of times, by the time the bus gets to them it is full and they have to wait for another one to come along. I am trying to figure out which section/area to request and I was looking at 9b, but now I am a little scared. Any problems at the other bus stops like this. If not 9b, I was looking to request another section of Cabanas which would be closer to bus stop 3. I thought I might just request Cabanas and see what happens. I know we could end up anywhere.

Is it still true that if you get your dinner to go at the pepper market, you do not have to pay the tip? We were able to do this last time we stayed at CSR, but that was 9 years ago.

I'm kinda wanting to go back to CSR. We stayed at POP in June and it was great, but we enjoyed our visit to CSR to eat at the lunch buffet.
