Nice review of CSR however your first picture is actually of the Rancho's area and not the casitas as you have it labeled. We love CSR and have recently just come back from our 2nd stay there. After checking out a few of the deluxe resorts during our stay, let me say we most likely will be headed back to CSR because it has everything this family needs and more!

Where did you find the discounts? Not seeing anything on Disney's site. Though I am looking for discounts after those dates.

I am hoping for 8A too. We have guaranteed first floor for medical reasons. I didn't request a building though. Will do that on online check in, going to check Cabanas. But I'd be just as happy in Casitas 4 or 5, Ranchos 7b, and Cabanas 8a or b, or 9a or b.

We've had so many short stays last year. At Pop and POFQ our room was assigned ahead of time, but each time at CSR it was assigned as we arrived. I was never just given the packet and sent on my merry way like at Pop. So it stinks you were treated so poorly last time. I hope check in is a great experience for you this time.

Bus stop #2 is generally considered the best bus stop at CSR. It is the first stop the bus goes to for all busses except DTD. It's located by Casitas 4. Having said that Christmas 2010 we stayed in Ranchos 7B and used bus stop 4 with no problems or complaints. But the direct answer to your question is stop 2.

Probably the location or the theming. It's the most remote part of the resort, and the theming is desert.

there are a lot of people who like the Ranchos too. If you want a more serene experience and you love to walk for exercise, that's where you would request.

It's the farthest away from El Centro (main building/food area).

YUP! That's the one!! It saved me about $100....It was aobut $50 lower than the AAA rate and I save $58 by not joining AAA!

Hello!! We are checking in to Coronado Springs in 10 days for our first stay! I'm so excited

I just did the online check in. The field where you can add a room request was not working. I'm concerned because I wanted to request Casitas #1 or #3. I want to be in a building close to El Centro but because of Arthritis in my knees I need to stay in a building with an elevator.

Can I still fax my request to the room assigner? If so, what number would I fax it to? When should I send the fax?

We check in on the same day at CSR! I start my trip off with a room only reservation at POP Century!

When I did online check in a few days ago it wouldn't let me pick a certain building, just a section like Casitas, Ranchos, or Cabanas. If that's not working now, I'd just call and make sure the room request was listed on the reservation in the computer. I know mine is ('first floor Cabanas with a preference for Cabanas 8A'). I don't believe any of the resorts are accepting faxes anymore. CSR was the last one to stop accepting them.

I've got to work one more night, then at 0715 Friday morning I officially start my vacation and will be arriving at CSR on Saturday.

We're going for Memorial Day weekend - the 25th through the 28th - and most likely just enjoying the resort, not the parks.

I've been debating whether or not to get the QS dining plan - is there enough QS variety at the resort to make the QSDP worthwhile?
