The buses will be running in time if your ADR is 8:00 or later - we usually catch a MK bus at 7:00 or 7:15 even when MK opens at 9:00 and it is not an EMH morning. But you would have to walk to CR from there or take the resort monorail, so a cab might be easier and would definitely be quicker. Not sure of the cab cost. If you have a 7:30 at Chef Mickey's, it might be cutting it close to take the bus. People have posted on the DIS about buses just for character breakfasts, but I haven't ever checked that out myself.

Some people have reported being dropped off at CR for early breakfasts when on the MK bus - you could ask at the front desk.

I haven't ever shipped anything to CSR. It seems that I have read the fee was $5-$10 depending on package size. There was a post a while back about someone shipping a case of water and I think the fee was $10 - whoever posted decided it was still worth it since Disney charges $2.50 per bottle of water.

We stayed in the cabanas 2 weeks ago.

The only time we had a crowded bus was coming back from the MK after the fireworks. I never saw a crowded bus leaving stop #4.

Shouldn't have a problem. In the worst case, another bus for whichever park you were going to would be by in 20 minutes. Sometimes, I saw multiple buses for the same park come by within 3-5 minutes of a previous one.

Not the same thing, but for reference, a cab/van from the Contemporary to Downtown Disney ran about $27.00.

Just back from 5 days @CSR. Stayed in Cabanas 8A, close to pool and bus stop 4. LOVE this resort!!!!
We had great bus trips, had to stand for 1/2 ride from Epcot after Illuminations, other than that, no problem and hardly any waiting!
Ate in the Pepper Market several times, food was delish!

Any other questions, ask away...

Welcome back! Glad you had a great stay! Cabana 8A is our favorite spot.

we took a cab from the Boardwalk to CBR and I think it was about $10. Then we took a cab from CR to CBR and I think it was about $17. Just a general idea of $

I really DO want to live there!
I circulate my paper clips at work so they all get used or I feel like they'd be sad if they didn't get a "turn".

We were ALSO there the first week of April - week before Easter - and always used Bus Stop 4. We didn't have one single problem getting a seat on the bus....ever. We typically had maybe half the seats taken on the bus when we got on. We were leaving at all times of the day, too! Sometimes very early (like to get to MK before the 7am opening), and sometimes in mid-day after a trip back to the room.

On the way BACK to CSR from the parks, only ONE time (and this is a VERY busy time - Spring Break) did we stand and that was leaving EPCOT at closing. It was NOT a big deal.

I would hope you have the same luck as we did.

I don't know, I am sorry. I did not wander to either the Casitas or the Ranchos, only saw them from the bus stop. Sorry!

Well guys ... I took a lot of pictures while at CSR the first week of April. The first one I want to share is one a lot of people seem to be asking about ... the drinks!! Here's your choices ... off to the right of this machine was a hot cocoa machine!!

Other people, please chime in about what other choices were available, because I mostly just stuck to the water and the Diet Coke.

NEXT ... Cafe Rix had these menus up. (For some weird reason I didn't get the menu with the HOT choices (like pizza or omelets) but I got these.)

We just booked our trip for November 10-19 and were wondering if anyone is aware of any large groups/conferences occurring during our stay? We were limited to either a water view, or a king bed room (inc water view, preferred etc). It seems all standards, regular preferred, casista suite and junior suites were already sold. We were really hoping for free dining to be released, but even if it is, with the already limited amount of rooms left; we don't think we will receive it.

Thanks for any input
