I'm here It doesn't look like we intersect at all Though I was thinking of checking out the boardwalk area on the 17th if we have the energy since DHS closes at 7:00.

We have so much in common - I'm an only child too and so is my daughter (not by plan either) who is 8 (she'll be 9 in December).

Two days now - actually 50 hours! Ugh - I try not be one of those people that "wishes their life away" wanting to be to a certain date because every day is a blessing...but I JUST CAN"T WAIT FOR THURSDAY! I am going to be so useless at work that morning, can't you tell.

Not even then...we'll be on the boardwalk on the 16th, if at all. Don't know what your Sunday the 20th plans are, but perhaps we will cross then, as our plans are up in the air for now. It's somewhat amazing that you can take a vacation at the same "place" and never even come close to crossing paths. And we've had trips where we've run into the same people several times across mulitple days. (That's pretty rare though.)


While I'm posting I should mention my mom is in Ft. Lauderdale safe and sound...so SHE is already on the trip - sort of...

My mistake on the dates there, bummer! We will be at Epcot on the 20th.

There's a decent chance we'll hit Epcot - well about 33 %. So, I'll look for you if we're there.

We are staying at the Animal Kingdom Lodge - we check in 11/9. Not sure what the plans are for us, other than MK on 11/11

That's what happens when your kid's normal bedtime is 7:30 at home and you are trying not to disrupt the routine too much on vacation! We actually got done so early today that we had time to watch a movie. Not used to that on a Disney trip, that's for sure! So I've had a little time to squeeze in some DISing in the evenings.

That DOES make a big difference. DD is 8, but we still try and be back to the room by 9. Just last trip did she get to the point where we could really "abuse" her and have a few later nights. I really try and spread them out though, usually try to have 2 or 3 early night in between the later ones.

She woke up early this morning (before 6:30 AM) and told me "I surprised myself when I realized we're going to Disney today!" I might just have an new alternative TR title!

Made it to WDW without problems. Got upgraded to preferred for entire stay!!!!!! In Martinique 26. About 100 yards from Port Royals. Bags arrived about 10PM. Early start tomorrow.

Glad to hear that you made it to WDW and were upgraded to a preferred room. We stayed in Martinique 26 once and the walk to OPR was very short. Hope you continue to have a good time.
