Hello All

How are we all doing? Good weekends?

Ours was good, went baking crazy on Saturday and made waaay too many cupcakes...

Then we went to view a house yesterday, I had already seen it Friday morning but I wanted Dave to see it too. We were going to say yes, but after thinking on it has said no as there are a few too many cons over pros for my liking.

Anywho, thought I would check and see how y'all are doing

Ciao for now
Stefy xx

I caught up on all your gorgeous pictures this morning before I left for work! I can't believe how empty the park was and how wonderful it must have been to be in there. I would love to visit DLP someday!

What lovely pictures! It really is an almost surreal feeling to be in a park before everyone else gets there, isn't it? It always makes me feel rather spoiled!

Love the cupcakes, btw! I love to bake, but my decorating skills are lacking, to say the least. So I love it when other people make super pretty sweets!

Hey Stefy

Glad to hear you had a good weekend - hope your Monday went well.

Love the cupcakes and a shame about saying no to the house - though a better one will probably come along.

Hi Stefy!
I am back and all caught up.
The photos of the empty park are just awesome, I really enjoyed seeing them and I might even consider booking the DLH in the near future.
And btw, breakfast looks awesome too!

I love the buffet breakfasts at the hotels in DLRP but they don't do the cooked part at Newport Bay

We're hoping to do to DLRP at the beginning of December but haven't decided where to stay - maybe Sequoia Lodge as stayed at Newport Bay last time. We'll check out prices nearer the time!!

Those cupcakes are amazing!! The decorations are fab!!

Hope the house search continues ok and I'm sure the right house is just around the corner!!

It was so wonderfully empty, it really did feel like there were just a scant few people there at times

Thanks I love making rope drop, like you say the feeling of being there early before anyone else and being able to enjoy it that little bit more

Thanks They went down a treat at work, I gave one to my bosses wife who's a chef/baker and apart from one small critic she loved them, she even asked for more Baking is fun, I find that I enjoy making them more than eating them I have no decorating skills, am still learning but like they say practise makes perfect so get practising

Gosh you're back already?!? Felt like you only went the other day! Hope you had a wonderful time, must get my butt in gear and catch up on all my subbed threads.

You should so stay at DLH, is such a gorgeous hotel. I loved walking into the lobby as you were always greeted by the smell of sweet talc or something Laura Ashley ish

I think the DLH is the only one with cooked breakfast. We stayed at NPB on our last trip and as much as there was tons of food, the variety really lacked.

The Sequoia Lodge looks beautiful, what about Hotel NY?

Thanks, was fun to make them, piping those babies weren't easy though and very messy

I hope we can find something soon, am itching to get out there and make a home for us

Morning All

Hope you are all good and survived the Monday back to work

So after posting yesterday I was meant to post an update to follow, but somehow I got distracted by an online sale So I apologise for that and to make up for it, am going to do an update right now

We left off with us arriving at the entrance to Sleeping Beauty Castle

What I love about Sleeping Beauty Castle is the fact that not only can you walk through it, but you can also go upstairs and explore inside and also outside along the turrets and walkways. Let me show me around

The detail is so amazing in here.

Inside it tells you the story of Sleeping Beauty in stain glass and it is beautiful with the colour and detail...

The view to downstairs.

Cntd...

That castle is gorgeous. So cool that you are able to go up inside of it. Thanks for sharing that with us.

I love the castle! What a great way to tell the Story of Sleeping Beauty (and brush up on your French!)

Looking forward to more, hope your day is going well!

Ooh, I'd forgotten how gorgeous the inside of the castle is!! I can't wait to show my DDs the castle as Sleeping Beauty is one of my DDs favourite films!! She's always asking to watch it and one of her favourite soft toys is the Aurora soft toy doll I bought her!!

Fab photos!!
