I've been having the same thoughts about the 5k and the water temp. I'm trying to get motivated to exercise at home so set the 5k as my goal. I think temp is relative to what you're used to. I've been looking at wetsuits, but think it would be hard to buy without the kids trying them on. Trying them on would be really hard to explain since it's a surprise!

I've read water temps would be in 70s. My kids swim in that in our pool at home. I figure it's one day. If we get cold, we'll get out and do some .

I've been in December and the water was pretty cold, but we still got in. My girls were 12 and 14 at the time and they went snorkeling.

Are you sure the time is midnight? I just payed the balance last night. I will be logging on in the hopes of getting a Palo Brunch. I may also book the Atlantis excursion since I don't think you get charged for cancellation. I'd rather have the reservation and cancel then not be able to get a reservation.

Yes, I believe its midnight. I read that you must wait until after midnight to log in. We haven't done this before, so this is new to us. I wonder if there will be cabanas available???

I've been on the Disney Cruise Line website, and in my reservations it says that I'm not able to start booking activities until 10/19 - am I missing something?

I believe thats correct if its your first cruise. For those that have cruised with DCL before, its 10/4 as long as we've paid in full.

Booking Activities

I am in the same boat as Dave "no pun intended" and don't have access until 10/19. Can any of the Silver members let us know if anything is available? I might book something for Myself, DS(10) and DD(4).

Thanks in advance.

From what I've read, the cabanas go really fast (and may already be gone). But Disney holds back space at Palo/Remy for those who can't get online reservations. So, if you don't get what you want on the 19th, go right up to Palo/Remy after boarding and see what you can get. Also, keep checking back online - have heard things open up periodically as people cancel.

Pillow- thanks for the reply, not sure I will be doing the Palo/Remy as I am single dad. I am however looking forward to some adult relax time by using the kids club.

Last summer we booked Palo brunch once we got on the ship with no problem.

I'm trying to figure out how much money we're going to be spending onboard. I really don't think we're going to do any excursions, but I know that DD21 and I will have at least a few drinks a day, and then tips.

I just went on at 12:01 to try and get a cabana, but they were all sold out. There were plenty of Palo times though - easy to get that. I didn't try to book anything else.
