My boyfriend and I have planned out first Disney trip in our adulthood! Neither of us have been since we were very little, but this year we are 23 and 24 year olds with no children and thought Disney World would be a perfect trip for us. I may have pouted a little bit to convince him Nonetheless we will be staying at the BC May 18-23 celebrating our two year (dating, not married!) anniversary!I believe we are there on the last day of the flower and garden festival, what should we look for? We couldn't be more excited!!

I'm so ready to be on vacation. We changed our check in day to the 15th from the 16th, so instead of flying in early we will be arriving in the evening. I think it will be easier on the kids vs. getting them up at 4 in the morning. We're also not telling them about the extra day until the day of, my husband is going to pick dd5 up from preschool and tell her to hurry up and eat lunch so we can catch our plane.

WELCOME TO THE DISBOARDS!!!!!

You'll find a wealth of knowledge on here. DW and I were 23 & 24, respectively, on our first trip in 2006 without kids AND in May. Probably our favorite time to go.

I believe the weekend of May 18/19 is a Star Wars weekend at the Studios so that may be worth checking out if that's up your alley. F&G Festival at Epcot is pretty impressive; the topiary's are amazing! In terms of what to look for...nothing specific really...just take in all of the different sights and make sure you spend some time in World Showcase.

We'll be there in May!! I am so excited. This will be the first time for all of us. It's Me (30) DH (34), DS (5), DD (3). The kids have no idea. We aren't telling them anything until we pull up at the airport.

My wife and I honeymooned @ disney last feb (also young adults, no kids), she had never been and niether had I (once as a kid I can't really remember) ... we both fell in love with disney. Returning in May and already planning a Bounce back.

You should change your BC res to a Moderate and stay for 10 days instead of 5 for the same price !!!

I am sure you will have an awesome trip !

Wish we could! Unfortunately we don't have that many vacations days to spend...

Next time! ;-)
