I think I will have a headache for a while my children are 6 and 3.

But wouldn't change it. Taylor cleaned her room tonight (not great, but okay for a 6 year old, I am no Mother Dearest)

Your kids are the same age as my two oldest grandkids!

Well, I booked a 4 day Dream cruise for January 2014! We are taking my oldest son and his family. This will be the first cruise for the oldest two grandkids. We will come back and spend a few days in the parks afterwards. We will take the youngest son and his family to the parks. His two will only be 3 and 18 months old in 2014, so I'm seeing 2015 at least for their first cruise!

That is awesome!!! How old are your grandchildren?
My mother took us on our first cruise in 2010 we did a 5 night and did WDW for a couple of days. There was 12 of us, my youngest was 18months at the time, and Taylor had just turned 4 3 days prior. I wish he was a bit older it would have made things easier on him and everyone else. Taylor had a blast and we hardly saw her, we had to drag her from the kids clubs.

well going to be baking today...we are having a cookie exchange at work on tuesday, so I have to get that done today...

That's kind of what I've been doing, but the dust is likely to come back by dinner time

I've vacuumed the floors and I've got washing to hang out then put another load on, maybe mop the floors and get a start on dinner. This is the first day of school holidays for us and really, it's probably a waste of time cleaning until they go back to school in late January!

With a 6, 3 and a husband I think cleaning is a never ending process at our house. Laundry is a different beast!

They are talking that we may get a little snow tonite...I can handle flurries, I just would prefer not getting an accumalation..

What a busy weekend we had! Spent Saturday getting a haircut, going to Mass, going grocery shopping, and making two batches of biscotti. Then Saturday night just as we were crawling into bed, our son calls and says the children's choir was going to be singing at the 10:45 Mass on Sunday (our granddaughter is a member of the choir). We usually go to the 9 AM. That changed everything for Sunday
My daughter-in-law and granddaughter went shopping for a dress for Christmas Eve.....UGH I DO NOT WANT TO GO TO ANOTHER STORE BEFORE CHRISTMAS!

I hate MOndays too....I feel rushed off my feet. However, I will take that snow, thank you! We didn't get anything last year.
