I am super interested in hearing how your first Fantasy Cruise goes, and subsequent ones as well.
Interested in excurisions for sure. Any idea what the Puerto Rico ones might be?
Quick questions--can you rent chairs and umbrellas on Castaway Cay(for those of us who can't get a private cabanna)

There are chairs and umbrellas for everyone on CC. They are included with the cruise fare. Lots to do in Puerto Rico. Forts, rainforest, great historic downtown. There will be tons to choose from.

We have been to St. Thomas many times but have never done an excursion through dcl. We tend to book things on our own.

Good Morning!
Today is March 9, 2012. One year from today we will be stepping on board for our cruise.
It seems like a long time but it will go by quickly.

During this year I hope to get to know you all a little better.

Let me start. We are a family of 3. DH, me and DS who is currently 12. We live in southwest Florida. DH & DS take Ju-Jitsu. DH coaches DS's basketball team. DS is also in scouting. DH is the head IT guy at his work so everything is always about computers. Me, I love scrapbooking and am currently working on our last cruise's album. I volunteer at school with the PTO and I love cooking and baking.
We are so looking forward to our next cruise- we had a wonderful time on our Christmas cruise. Also looking forward to finding all about the Fantasy as people begin sailing on her.

I was just thinking that this morning. Today is the last day before Spring Break starts and we would be on our way to FL for the cruise (going by day of the week not calendar day) Its exciting to think I am down to 1 year now.

Since I had accidently posted 2x's earlier today I just thought I'd change my thought for the day LOL.

I really wish I was on the Fantasy right now, especially as I look out at the overcast skies that are going to stay with me all weekend.

So what are you looking forward to trying out on the Fantasy. I get so excited seeing her pictures now that she is officially a Disney ship. My current phone wall paper is a picture I got from WDW News I think that has the Fantasy in PC with fireworks going off in the background and in the foreground is a picture of the back of Donald, Mickey, Pluto and MInnie in their sailor gear. It is adorable and just looking at the picture gets me excited.

For the Fantasy I can't wait to explore the new ship. There are so many things I want to do.

Welcome! Big mistake, you may never want to take a 3, 4, or 5 night cruise again after this 7 night.

Just got home off the Magic, her last voyage on the eastern itinerary. I'm a bit sad not to be sailing on her again ... but Fantasy awaits!

Just thought I'd mention that I tried to re-shop the cruise onboard, but the price increases had already erased any benefit. Looking forward to our first trip with a verandah!

We tendered in St. Thomas, which really wasn't fun at all. I'll be interested to see if the Fantasy gets space at the pier. (They told us that the Magic was booted to anchoring in the harbour because she was the smallest ship there.)

We were on the Magic for our first cruise last December. It was wonderful!

Kind of nervous about being on the Fantasy with double the amount of people. I know the ship is bigger but that's a lot of people. Those who have been on the Dream, during prime dates like our's - does it really feel crowded?

Can't even imagine what the character lines will be like.

Thanks.

Wow -- I just took a closer look at the fares, and discovered that our category is $1,600 higher than when I booked in October.

Now I'm grateful that I booked another dummy while onboard, which will give me a foot in the door, so to speak, for 2014 when the itineraries are released.

Prices have gone crazy for our week. If we weren't already booked, we wouldn't be going.

We just got back from spring Break on the Wonder. We ended up having to embark in Puerto Vallarta so only a 4 day cruise, but better than cancelling completely. We had fun but it sure was cold heading back to LA on the last day. Let's hope 2013 on the Fantasy will be hot and sunny.

Wow, just looked myself. Our cabin has gone up $1400. Thank goodness we got it when we did.
