WDW Photo Session...Orlando Photogs?

Does anyone know of an Orlando-area based photographer who specializes in WDW photo sessions?

I know we could do one with Disney's Photopass but I'm interested in someone with more of a photo-journalistic approach if you know what I mean.

Thanks!

Disney does not allow outside professional photographers to shoot on Disney property.

I've found a few Orlando-based photographers who have pictures of sessions on their blogs and websties in the parks, Downtown Disney, and the resorts.

Just wondering if anyone out there has any experience with any.

Denise is only partially right - Disney doesn't allow professional photographers other than their own to have sessions in the parks. They do allow it at the resorts and there are several area photographers that book on location resort shoots. I don't have any experience with them (yet) but have been looking at various options for a photo shoot as a gift to my mom if my brother joins us on our Jan trip because having us all together like that means so much to her.

Gifts of a Lifetime does in park photography and I'm not sure how exactly they get around Disney's rule. I'm not especially impressed with their photographer from the samples on their website but that's a matter of personal preference - her style is like having a talented friend follow you through the park and that is probably what a lot of families are looking for, but I was looking for a more "portrait" style. http://www.giftsofalifetime.com/photoevent.html

If you're happy at a resort there are a number of Orlando-area photographers that will schedule an on-location shoot. I think we're going to go with Jason Angelini Photography; they're popular with Disney brides and I like the look of the family portraits on the studio's web site, and the rates are quite reasonable for professional photography. http://www.jasonangeliniphotography.com/

Previous threads not that long ago indicated that resorts are off limits also. That thread specifically mentioned OKW.

A friend of mine is a photographer in Orlando. She indicated to me that she is not allowed to shoot in the parks but can shoot at the resorts and DTD. In fact, she did my maternity shoot at the Grand Flordian. She is a great professional photographer and her prices are very reasonable. Her website is http://www.jenstevensonphoto.com

I would suggest Regina Hyman. She is a Disney Wedding Photographer and also has a private business (link below). If you decide to go with a Disney pohotgrapher, I'd suggest requesting her. She did our wedding photos and our in-park portraits the day after and we were very happy with her.
